    Popups

There still some ads, just not as many and in my opinion more appropriate to this forum. The net thrives on ads but this forum is much better for what ever reason than it was a while back. Just my 2 cents.

    Popups

Don't know who stopped all the popups and constant advertising but thanks. Some of them were pretty gross. Much better site.
  3. Up hill both ways with no shoes.
  4. Who wants to live to their 90's and be a burden? Ask a 90 year old!
  5. I have a friend that's interested in at least one. He would like to visit with you. Anyway you can send me a phone number so he can call you. Mine is 870-365-9463. Thanks...
  6. Is anyone as confused about what day it is as I am. Due to covid quarantined during Christmas then New Year's for same. Suppose to do a breakfast Saturday morning and finally get with family ..I think. Maybe it's the next week. I'm not sure. Is this 2022? I think I'm missing something. My mind I guess. I'm sure no one else seems out of whack as I do.
  7. Dutch check ours out. www.lsmounts.com. I don't like to take advantage of this forum to advertise too much here but since no one replied take a look. Thanks
  8. Probably tastes like chicken. Doesn't everything?

    Boat trim

Seems like I see more big nice bass boats going down the lake not trimmed up. Nose is down and they are plowing the water. I always trim a boat to where as much as possible is out of the water at what ever speed. Trim up till it starts to bounce then trim drown a little for a smooth ride. Seems these guys are getting a boat and no one teaches them how to use it. Am I wrong? Is there a better way?
  10. Thanks...I think I may have it worked out. Apparently not a whole lot of them around here yet. I really appreciate your response and may get back to you.
  11. Does anyone have or know someone who has active target on their boat? I need to see the set up on the trolling motor shaft. Someone in north Arkansas or Southern Missouri. We make the LSMount but the active target requires a bigger radius to turn and I need some measurements. There's not a lot of them out there yet. Any help would be appreciated.
  12. I guess my go- to bait last couple years is zoom baby brushhog Texas rigged. Seems to work pretty good. Dark colors. You might give them a try. Gnats are real friendly after dark. Practice tying on a hook real fast...hold your breath...keep your mouth closed.
  13. There's lots of things I can't see or understand. Actually most things. That certainly doesn't mean it doesn't happen or doesn't work. I'm still not sure mice don't come from rotting hay or old dirty rags. Sure glad there is some smart people in this world. I remember polio and how we all got on a school bus to go to the hospital to get a shot. I don't know how it worked but it did and saved a lot of people being from a terrible disease. You can make your own list of diseases that aren't big issues any more because medical science has come up with an answer.
  14. Consider that all the new trolling motors have as much electronics in the them as first space rocket to the moon it surprises me they hold up as good as they do. Garmin had a recall I was told last summer. It took motorguide months to get theirs out there. I've had my ultrex for over a couple of years. Occasionally it seems to go off spotlock but could be I hit the button. Over all it's been pretty good. They all amaze me. Nothing is perfect except my grandchildren.
  15. "drift" .....I can relate to that. Setting at breakfast i meant to say "honey, please pass the corn flakes, sweetheart" but blurted out " you ugly old hag. You've ruined my whole life" . Gotcha
  16. Boat insurance and life insurance are not the same. I thought we were talking about life insurance. Of course being in the insurance game for so many years has left my brain a little (or a lot) pickled. Property and casualty policies can have all sorts of exceptions and exclusions.
  17. As I said a personally purchased policy. I of course, don't know what kind of life policy it was but some group type policies may have exceptions. Individual policies may have an exclusion for suicide but that is generally for only the first 2 years. Even suicide with in the first two years the company will return premium paid. If you have risky job or hobby like sky diving and you don't disclose it or if you don't disclose a medical condition there is generally only a 2 year contestiblity period. After that they are on the risk. Some policies will charge you more for some risky behavior or allow you to sign a waiver for that behavior. Generally offer you a policy with a surcharge. Riding wild bulls or sky diving or scuba diving over 30 feet or so might be a few examples. Again I don't know the whole circumstances you are talking about.
  18. Good idea to use the cut off switch for safety. I did write life insurance for years and know of no wording in a personally bought policy that could let a company deny a claim if you failed to have the cut off switch on. The good news is they will have to pay....the bad news is the guy who wasn't wearing the cut off switch won't be around for the party.
  19. I edited......my demetia is apparent. It is actually "constipation of the mind.... diarrhea of the mouth".
  20. This may ha ve already been posted but my dad had a saying "constipation of the mind.... diarrhea of the mouth." I suffer from that now and then. Medical science is working on it but it keeps mutating.
  21. Yes. Been where he made them. I don't know exactly what brands he " rolled " and " baked" but he could and did that. Great guy but business struggled esp when so much went to china. He could turn out a lot of great rods.
  22. Those are both great. Congrats. Make it a do over in 2021!
  23. Not smart enough to give link but it's on youtube. Search youtube for PeteWenner and dec 10 2020. Someone else may be able to link. Good video. I think this is the one.
  24. Sorry folks but I wanted to link to our video on previous post. Not good at this stuff. info@lsmounts.com or call at 870-365-9463
  25. We are just introducing our new Livescope or Lightsight to control your transducer independent of the trolling motor. We are making a quality mount at an affordable price. . It is light in weight and will look great on your boat. I have had a prototype on my boat this summer and it works great. I like the fact you can scan around your boat for targets while moving forward and then stay on a target with your spot lock. Please go to www.lsmounts.com for information and mounting options. We would like to hear from you. info@lsmounts.com or call at 870-365-9463
