I'm starting to think that a few of you don't fish anymore, just set around and cry on the computer. 21.5 Smallmouth this morning. Beetle Spin. Houghton Lake, MI.

Bunch of crybabies around here. I just sit back,read and eat popcorn. Everybody enjoys fishing. Nothing wrong with keeping or releasing. If you play by the rules... enjoy. I'm fishing some of the best trout streams and rivers in Michigan now and I can tell you that the "Orvis Bitches" are the worst. (stole that from somebody here) Don't get me started on the "pro tourney bass jackasses" P.S. I caught 18 crappie, 4 walleye, 1 lake trout, 3 rock bass and gobs of lake perch today, all went back. Tomorrow, they might get the knife.

I'm getting old. The Great Lakes brown I was referring to was caught in the early 80's, was a WR at the time. I have the newspaper clipping somewhere. Only reason I remember it is because I was sitting on top of a gravel plant within site of the lake and we worked before sunup till after sundown. I hated that job.

The Great Lakes Brown caught in Arcadia Lake was on a flatfish(pearl) by a young guy in a 12' flat bottom. He was targeting lake trout. You never know, that's why we go out.

You can clearly see 2 stringers. I remember taking the 5th link off the chain stringer many years ago, made it easy to keep track.

Missouri has had a separate stringer,basket ,etc. rule for as long as I can remember. I fish in 5or 6 different states/countries a year and all of them require some sort of personal separation. Most require possession limits be marked with name, etc., Missouri does for sure. Sad when you need a law degree to catch a mess of fish and avoid a ticket.
