    Since I been building my own rods, I have been upgrading reels as well. Last couple reels I bought have been Diawia Tatula's CT100hs TWS.] for under 100 bucks and like them very much. Anyone have any other suggestions for reel's in this price range ?....thanks....

    "I usually have my regular glasses on when running a grinder and such...I have had several of them die grinder cut off wheels come apart, caught my shirt on fire one time with a 10" body grinder...lol

    Well wrench if you fell off you bike and hit your head you would probably crack or break what ever you hit other than your hard head. Now you make me feel like an idiot because I don't wear safety glasses half the time with a grinder and if you can throw file saving off a file like you do and grinder my hats off to you..

    When I was 30-40 years old I didn't even know what a pdf was and we use to go offshore 35 miles in an 18 foot boat. Now im 65 I make sure I have my PDF on and kill switch hooked up whn big motor running. I think I may have less chance of falling off my 19 foot champ then I did my 176 but these fine and courtesy people we have on the lake now I know that none of them would run close to my boat to upset it that I fall off....by the way anyone have a mount suggestion so that I can mount AR15 300 blackout on my boat?

    Winter time I wear a regular PFD vest which helps retaining some body heat and summer time I wear an inflatable and either one of them are on even kill switch hooked up if im just backing boat off trailer. Sometimes I ferget I have the kill switch hooked up when I get out of drivers seat.

    That first spot has some very dark spots on it, haven't seen one that dark before.

    I went down to Shell Knob boat ramp this afternoon and it was snowing and one boat was out and came in and another pulled in and put in ….I just not that mad at them..

    For what you have in that ranger you can buy 2 wake boats and run them side by side on the lake and make twice the wake...lol

    I had cataracts in both eyes done in 2016..I now have 20/15 vision but need glasses for reading and close up work..

    Spent 15,000 bucks on my eyes and still have to wear 6 dollar pair of glasses to read...lol

    From what i understand is Washington state taxes your inventory and since NFC is there they build the rods as orders come in for them....I been looking at Batson rods like the rainshadow line and i have had no problems with MHX rods either from mudhole.

    You are correct.... here is the issue with NFC is shipping time...it can take anywhere from 3 weeks to 6 months to receive your order...I ordered my Delta blanks beginning of December and have not received my blanks yet..the had 65% of of blanks special.

    Gary Loomis Rod's are made in WA. as I have 2 of his blanks on order and I think one of the rod blanks I bought was going to be a jig rod.

    Set that hook in that rock Quillback..I been guilty of not setting hook at times.. I'm way past due to go out, but it will probably be another couple months till Dr figures out what's wrong with me..have stress test next Thursday, it's only taken 4 months to get a test done...lol

    Just order the whole kit...anything over 99 bucks ships free....I like the MHX series rods..have built a couple of the mag tapper rods and i have built one 8 foot MHX blend rod which is very sensitive that is my crank bait rod, all rods are built spiral wrap..
