Someone told me pizza hut delivers to the boat dock...just what i had heard...

I put in at Shell Knob 39 bridge boat ramp at 10 am today, boat was stuck on trailer since it had been on trailer since November and had to back way in to get it to come free from trailer. So i get boat off trailer ( i was by myself) boat to dock and truck and trailer parked get to where i wanted to be and picked up my brand new first time out baitcaster reel and made 5 cast and the biggest birds nest i have ever seen appeared on the reel. So i get that mess all cleaned up and made 2 more cast and thought ok i got this, wrong 4 casts later and wham another beautiful birds nest and i thought well at least it was trilene and not that expensive stuff called braid. So i get my spinning reel and pole out and make a couple nice cast with my war eagle spinner bait ghost and that went for a ride without the line so i lost that also, the rest of the day was pretty much downhill, i threw everything i had and worked different bottoms threw to the bank threw parallel to the bank deeper water shallower water and nothing zip, didnt even need a clicker for the day. Only fish i saw on my sonar was in 30 to 60 FOW, but it was a beautiful day for the boat ride. Even lost a couple of NED's

Thats what i was wondering also Quill guess no one has a job..must either been a tournament today or they where pre fishing for this weekend bunch of boats with them sticks hanging on the back of the boats. also a bunch of them pontoon boats. Shell Knob boat ramp parking was almost full when i got there at 10 am and they had trucks and trailers parked up top when i came in at 3 pm.

Nice quill!! How was boat traffic? I just got in from Shell Knob area and i thought it was Sunday with all the boat traffic.

Nice fish..Mr Babler..those are the ones we dream of......that spot will be loaded with fishermen tomorrow...

It was gusting to 30 mph yesterday around the house and in no one direction either...lol.. This weather and temps bouncing all around no doubt has the fish confused at least i would think it would.

I had some fuzzy jig heads years ago that you put a crawdad sent on the fuzzy jig head in which it retained the sent...forgot the name of the product but it was a kit sort to say and i know the stuff smelt bad...lol. Ok found the bottle and it was whiZkers, essence of crawdad..i do believe it was a kit with the fuzzy jig heads and essence..

Im a diet dew man...lol regular dew to sweet and i did like the code red dew real well but i guess they took it off the market.

Thanks for the report Champ...I didnt make it out, decided i needed to address the keel on my boat since the previous owner use to beach it with no keel protector on it and had all the gelcoat knocked off it down to fiber glass..
