That's been a good spot for a long time. I have quite a few within a few minutes of there... -
I heard that it had been on fire over there recently but it's pretty beat up now. Heard reports of some giant bass being caught but that they're pretty sore lipped at this point. I don't trust a lot of reports without pictures, but still.

You could always have someone drop you at State Park and drive on over by water. I think that's what a lot of people are doing right now on that part of the lake.

I started a new strategy a few weeks ago and it's greatly improved my results. It feels like Champ has a cheat code though.

I'd think that there could be high water anywhere that is a tailwater right now. What about taking them to a trout park?

That's the new BPS knock off! I have a double plopper. I had trouble with it sinking and then realized I was throwing it on Flouro. I've since thrown it on braid but haven't been bit on it yet.

I've never been bit on the smaller one and have thrown it a ton. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I just don't like it at all. I throw the 130 and get bites but only when it's moving pretty good and they just smash it. I think the commotion is what draws strikes with it but I could be wrong.

I'll also add that TR is an excellent SB lake at night more often than not. I've had a ton of success with the black Jewel Jolt SB.

I'm telling you. The SB bites are insane right now. If they hit it they're trying to kill it.

I would think it would always be a good blade lake. That wind never stops up there!

I've lived in the area for 20 years and the Rock is just tough. Just finding fish right now is an adventure. There's a ton of cover. I know how to catch them pretty good on the blade, but this summer when you guys are killing it deep with drop shots I'll be lost. Fwiw, I only throw War Eagle anymore too. I used to throw Strike King and even Booyah, but there is something about the WE that makes a difference IMHO. It could just be confidence on my part though. I'll be begging for advice when the fish go deep pretty soon.
