That's ok with me, I've caught some dandies in the fall. No one was around just the way I like it. I you do happen on someone, they are probably like minded
Found 6, 14" to 14.5" and a 5 gallon bucket of dinks. Here are a couple examples. I was out of the kayak by 1pm.
I was thankful for the slip sinker as they just sucked up the bait, the dinks really smacked it though and had followers many times.
All in all, low cost fun, hot weather fishing.
I guess I don't look at the site enough to know what's going on??
I all look for your post and learn from them, thanks for that.
It will be a shame if you stop posting.
They were all over Stockton yesterday. I remember the first time I ever saw the little bright colored ones, we were in Branson I think it was at least 15 yrs ago maybe more.
It was the first little cut back on the east side if I remember there is a courtesy dock or a slip or something. I remember thinking I was hung on a cable at first , I tried to load a pic but the site wouldn't let me this morning
I hooked a big gar around emerald beach a few years ago, on a spoon. It stayed pinned long enough to get it's head almost in the boat. They are fighters !
I thought mudpuppies and hellbenders were the same creature, I think I read in Mo.con. that the hellbender is a sign of healthy water. Either way it's a cool catch
Agree, grew up with spinning tackle, went to baitcasters late in life, I'm righthanded, cast with my right, reel with my left, I never have to switch hands to reel, it seems right to me.
I haven't found that old video of the muskie I think is might be imbedded in an article I read somewhere. As I recall it was longer than whatever record they were going for, but not as heavy.
I did find this interesting.
I thought it was small too.
There is an old video out there of a man with a near record fish on a stringer beside his boat, it was taken at fellows years ago
Sorry I didn't realize there was malware
In the day there were merit based raises and apprenticeship learning. I think school is great, it should be more kinetic. In other words actually do something to prove yourself. Most managers are fb'ers and tiktok'ers too.
Oh my goodness i can get wound up about this.
We better get back to the dam thing😁
I couldn't resist getting on the water, I just brought the kayak though.
Put in at Son's creek just to look around. Tried to fish a little but man there are shad everywhere it was crazy !
Loaded up went to Mutton Creek to float around, got no love on anything. But it was a beautiful day.
Sometimes fishing really makes me question my sanity.
