When my neighbor moved in he told everyone he was a pro bass fisherman. I hadn't met him and we like "COOL!". I gotta meet this guy. I've never talked to a bass pro. He has a place at LOZ and fishes the wednesday night deal. He's a good guy and wins occasionally but hardly a "Pro". He sells bearings a japanese company around the midwest. So in my mind he is a pro bearing salesman....

Mine had just started and I could have waited years for them to get bad enough for insurance to cover them but I went ahead and paid. Totally worth it. I wore sunglasses inside at night after the first eye because the lights were so bright. It was like I was living in candle light. My wife just got her first eye done two weeks ago. Not cheap but like @Dutch said it saves money on glasses over and over again. I can see to tie on the lure and see the lure flying through the air. Couldn't do either before the surgery without bifocals.

Don't miss going to the hot springs either. Iron Mountain Hot Springs is great and so is the old Glenwood Springs. Of course I went with my wife...😁

It's a real thing. Mostly getting over the passes due to weather. I had to come home a day early from Glenwood due to weather in September one year. We were one of the last vehicles over the pass when they switched from 4 wheel drive only to chains only.
