    Get it deep. Surf and turf. Egg fly with a San Juan worm dropper. Or scud dropper. I think most people think they are difficult to fish but I think it’s because there aren’t a bunch of stockers to catch. Good luck.

    I don’t have FB and the few FF films I’ve seen were just ok. The latest Joe Humphrey one was a joke. Looked like a pay to fish creek with no where for the trout to go. I’m sure I’ll get harpooned for that comment like I did when I said that the first when someone posted it on here.

    I’ve been to dozens of concerts starting in the 70’s. Back then they had acid rescue onsite. You don’t see that now.

    I brush mine with home made clarified butter for the sear. Tastes amazing.

    Those look great! I just grilled one too. Perfect 140 degrees and tough as shoe leather. Bad cut I guess. From local butcher. Or I’m spoiled on prime from Costco.

    I have a custom bamboo 2 weight I inherited from my dad. It’s never been wet. And an antique hardy bantam to with it. Sitting in the closet like dozens of other fly rods I have. It’s a Shame really.

    Those herons squawking will scare the crap out of you. Had a beaver bump me in the dark at Taney. At least I think it was a beaver. I didn’t snag the heron it just flew through the fly line and went down. I’m sure it was hilarious me talking to a pissed off heron in the dark while trying to untangle it.

    I get all freaked out in the dark fishing sometimes. Herons fly around at night and what one accidentally skewers my through my noggin?!?! it could happen.....

    I did that about a month ago. Bumped the fob in my pocket at 4:45 on a Saturday. My wife was not happy. I snagged a blue heron in my back cast in the dark once. He was about as happy as my wife😂
