    I was going to build/buy a vacation/retirement house at Tablerock. We were told about the condo we bought and after getting settled we are so glad we didn't get a house. My buddies who have lake houses spend a lot of time with maintenance and upkeep. Of course I have the monthly fee but it comes with pools, hot tubes, sauna, gym, boat yard and docks. We love it!

    No different in an outboard jet. My buddy says why do you get in a hurry to get going. While we’re back drifting into a shallow shoal. Because with his fat @$$ in the boat I need an additional foot of water to get going. 😆

    The owner of Blazer Jet Boats said a tunnel is not necessary and in fact doesn’t work as well as a flat bottom hull with on outboard jet. Mine runs crazy shallow and it doesn’t have a tunnel. 3” to 4” easy.

    On the water in the dark. No buzzer bites. No jig bites. I think I wore out my spots. One fat 15”er on a whacky rig. Headed home and I’ll be back in a couple weeks.

    On the water at 6 AM. Momma went with me this morning. I stay in the backs of cuts and coves preferably with wood and dirty water from run off. Nothing on the buzzer and I even tried a chartreuse/white instead of ole black beauty. Pete’s PBJ jig caught 13. 1 almost 17” and one 15”er. The rest were just fat 12-14”ers. Done by 9 and back at work. I’ll give it a go again tomorrow.

    I bet the one I recovered probably traveled at least 500 yards before I grabbed it. Far enough it went out of sight while I fished and I had to go look for it. It’s not a bad idea but shouldn’t they have contact info on them? And. How do they find them after a fish is on it towing it around?
