  1. Crickets. Just don’t let the kids have the cricket tube in the car. Trust me😂
  2. Good job. Keepin it clean!!
  3. I’ve never had a moral dilemma when fishing. I guess because I don’t fish for money. I have apologized to several fish before. For hooking them in the eyes or gills.
  4. Those are nice ones! Thanks for the report and pictures. I like that net and need a new one. What kind is it?
  5. Probably @fishinwrench. 😂
  6. I was at tablerock dam area for almost 3 weeks. Not a peep there. Came home today and they are thick here. I’m on the phone with HOA as I type this😂
  7. That still sounds like a good day. I went back looking for the shad spawn and found them again. This time though they were spawning on floating debris in the middle of the cove. Fish would occasionally take one but not consistently. I only caught one early on a spittin image. Literally 2nd cast. I thought it was gonna be on. But it wasn’t.😂. My hot streak came to an end.
  8. That’s a beaut! Did you weigh it?
  9. I’m available for 3rd party testing. I can send my address. 😁
  10. Nice! 25-30 fish trips are awesome!!
  11. Why doesn’t this surprise me😆
  12. I did but only by the lips. Not like you ham handing those dirt fish😂
  13. Since they turned the floodgates off at Taney and I had a meeting at 9 o’clock I put the tin can in here at table rock. A couple guides on YouTube said there was a shad spawn so I went to the back of a couple coves near here that I thought might have runoff coming in. I found the dirty water in the third Cove I went to. There was a bunch of leaves and wood chips piled up around some logs, and the shad were jumping out of the water onto it. I threw a white chatter bait in there and boom! First cast got smoked. I took evidence pictures of the nicer ones. The big one is 20” and 5 pounds. I was sitting on spot lock retying my leader and the 19”er came out of the wood chasing shad with his back out of the water. I finished my knot and flipped the chatter bait in front of him and he nailed it.
  14. Check out my new report on Tablerock in a few minutes
  15. What’s your point 😂
  16. And just like that they are shut down. I guess I’ll work tomorrow morning.
  17. Correct. That’s a right hand retrieve reel. I crank them with my left hand. No switching hands after I cast with my right. I think it’s you😂
  18. I only threw the stimulator a little bit. When big fish are swirling on shad I can’t resist that. It absolutely poured on my way back to table rock. Streets had 3-4 inches of running water on them. Did you get a lot at your place?
  19. Has it ever occurred to you that it’s you?😁
  20. Spinning reels are referenced that way too. Everything I use is left hand retrieve. Never understood switching hands after casting. 🤷‍♂️
  21. At the dam. White jig. Couple dinks on a stimulater.
  22. Just in case @fishinwrench is as wondering😁. I was on the water at first light this morning. Started slow with a bunch of stockers. All rainbows, all fat and healthy. Then it was on! I caught these 2 back to back. I guess a slug of shad came through. Never saw any but the first one spit 3 up. Both of these well over 20”s. I wad watching the radar and then heard thunder in the distance. Hightailed it to the ramp. Got my boat unloaded and put on the cover. First drop hit as I was getting in the truck. Then the sky opened. Heavy rain and hail!
  23. Now you’ve really crossed the line 😆
