    I don't remember what my first year was but it was in the 70's with my dad. Back then it wasn't unusual to be the only people in the park. I've never missed one since it started. For me trout season opens in October and closes March 1st. Thanks Bill! Hybrids ought to start moving soon.

    I remember when this board used to show the number of views a post got. It was a real eye opening experience to see just how many people looked at the thread and didn't reply. Internet scouting has been, and is, a real dealio. I've done it myself but I wouldn't tell anyone where that spot is now either.

    I've said this many times over the years while they were debating the felt sole ban. We would wade below the dam at BS in diddy and drive to Taney on the way home with our waders still on and wet. It's in Taney, it just doesn't thrive for some unknown reason.

    How about the video of the Gene's Dock getting sucked under the Hwy 5 bridge back during the floods on Norfork? It took all of 2 seconds to reduce it to kindling. Boats and all.

    Two 3 pound boston butts seasoned and sitting in the frig unit early AM when they go on the smoker. Kids and grandkids coming over tomorrow afternoon for beer and BBQ! Oil and vinegar salad, tater tots and toasted buns. I'll smoke a few dogs for the grand kids and a few for an appetizer. Rotele dip, hot sauce and chips. LOTSA BEER since we all live near each other.
