6 total in 2.5 hours, swung and missed that many too.
5 keeps, one around 18 inches and fat.
None on the fluke, one a trick worm using a 1/16 jig head to get it down and the rest on the lure never to be named on the forum.
Man! Strike the PFD off the Xmas list.

They're small lakes up to 40 acres, no gas boats, but i have clothes and boots on.
I ride my bike 50 to 60 miles a week but that water yesterday was cold.
First time it ever crossed my mind to be honest.
Thanks for not straight out calling me pu$$y Wrench but I've been around inter web long enough to read between the lines.
Pete
Well Wrench, as a matter of fact I have tied it to my belt loop.
I can't swim as well as a surfer, especially with winter clothes and boots on.
But I have it made to 54 and I'd kind of like to make a little farther.
So in other rewords you're calling me a pu$$y?
Pete
You know Wrench I've been fishing out of one for years, never gave it a thought until yesterday.
The lake I fish has some bluff banks and points and it's almost a mile long.
Yesterday water was COLD.
Another guy pulls up and puts in his big bass boat and the first thing he did was put on a PFD.
Kind of made me wonder if I was stupid.
It brings up another question.
If I fall out how do I get my boat back?
Nobody lives around this lake.

My youngest turned 15 last year and I was getting out all the stuff.
She walks over and says "If you don't want to do that anymore you don't have to. Me and mom will decorate the unside"
I hugged her and said you can have whatever you want for Xmas and I almost started crying.
Got her a car.
Pete
BTW, I have a huge mess of lights and stuff in my basement if anyone wants it.
I recycle paper and cardboard, that's it.
I have to take it to a bin at the City service center but I drive by it all the time so it's not a stand alone trip.
I live in an unicorporated area so the service isn't available to me.
My company recycles thousands of tons of steel per year.
Pete
If you guys go, please let me know.
I have some new suspending jigs I want to ttry.
Man you're right about the water Rick.
I've never seen it that bad and I've been going down there for over 40 years.
Pete
See the jig fest #3 update post Brett did.
One minute I'm taking pictures of his big brown and everything is fine.
Next thing I know I'm bush whacking up the hill to get to the tracks.
Man!!! Knock one little fish off with the net and boom, you're hiking back to the truck.
Pete
I had a great time too.
The water conditions Saturday were quite honestly, terrible.
I can't ever remember in 50 years the water being so dirty.
Couldn't see a brown/orange jig 4 feet down in the water.
Still a great time.
I don't mind caddying for Brett!!
