I’ve heard some guys recalibrate it. Mine will drift a little in river current but will dart back to WP quickly sometimes. But I think it’s because my Jon boat is light and flat bottom. I run 24 volt 80 pound Ultrex. And love it!

I typically buy 4 or more NRs per year and try to stay away from the annual. Except AR. I buy an annual every year. Going to Wisconsin next week and it’s $30 for 4 days. In addition, it seems in the past if it was a guide trip I didn’t need one. Now I have to buy one every time.

Nope. I had such a poor first 3 hours by the time I started catching them, and was essentially working back to the ramp, I didn’t want to stop and take any. Unusual, I know. 😆. Sorry.

I threw everything Saturday morning and just decided to throw my favorite crank to cover water. They about yanked it out of my hand. Only got to fish it about an hour before I had to leave. But caught 8 in that hour.

That’s weird. Back at home the mosquitoes were so bad you couldn’t be in the garage with the door open for 5 minutes or they would be all over you. But that’s normal every year. My wife’s flower gardens are breeding grounds with the sprinklers running every couple days.

Plenty of hoppers here at Tablerock. Little ones all over the boat yard and a big one out front I keep saying hi to everyday.

I just caught this one at lunch.

I caught the largemouth in 2’ or less. Nothing deeper than 8’.

Nope. He fought good and swam off. Just real dark colored.

Saturday and Sunday I got out early. Launched in the dark. Headed to the backs of coves and cuts in the lower end. Water is warm. It was cloudy both days and caught them sporadically shallow. Buzzer, zara puppy, finesse jig and 5” worm. Never really got on a bunch at one spot but it was just ok fishing. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings I caught the smallies off our dock with a 1/16th ounce marabou jig on my trout rod. 16”, 17” and the real dark one is a hair over 18”s. A lot of fun on 3 pound P Line. Caught some other small ones too but only pictures of the better ones. Too hot tonight and for the rest of the week for that matter. I might try super early off the dock. Good luck out there.
