    8 o’clock is very good coffee. It has placed high up in several competitions. I used to buy whole bean direct from them but they are always sold out. Not sure if they just don’t offer it anymore.

    I hope this is ok here. We’re coffee nuts. Back when my daughter was in college she worked at a coffee joint. The owner told her the worst thing you can do to coffee is an automatic drip coffee maker. Not just taste but heating hot acidic liquid in plastic then running it over a plastic lid is poison. We switched to old school percolation in stainless steel and the difference is huge! Best tasting coffee ever. BTW. Black.

    I have not. Over the years I just slowly quit doing job site visits. I also sold the caissons and the temporary crane platform for the 86 bridge near Long Creek. If you look closely you can see the guys standing next to it for scale.

    I ride the Katy Trail here along the Missouri River. Snakes are out in force today.

    My dad’s birthday is July 2nd😆. I always tell people to look back 9 months from your birthday to see what any “interesting” dates are. 65 bills. Got my Medicare card yesterday!! Last day of work is April 3rd but I have 8 days of PTO to burn.

    I remember shivering with blue lips as a kid. The highlight of a vacation was a hotel with a pool. Look kids, it’s old faithful! Big deal. Does the hotel have a pool😆

    Fished 730 to 1030. WT 49 to start and one south facing bank 56. Warm and slick calm. Caught 22 and missed another 10. They seemed finicky. Couldn’t catch one on a square bill but I’ve about wore these banks out. So I moved deeper with the rk crawler. All under 15” except one. Rk crawler, jig and Ned. A lot boats out when I came in. 15”er.

    It’s gorilla tape holding some cut up pool noodle to it. So it floats. Got it from the youngest for Father’s Day a long time ago.

    Got back out today at 11, quit at 2:30. WT 47, high sky and WINDY! Caught 16, all on the spring craw square bill. Smallest was 7” biggest was a fat 19”er. Not as good as before the cool down but still good fishing. Got pretty far from the ramp and had to cross the main lake in the chop. I had to zig zag my way back. 7” and 19”

    I tried xps braid a few years ago when it was on sale and I like it better than 832. Yes, you can get the P-line on sale online. Choppos are half price too!!
