    A buddy caught a 59 pounder out of the Missouri last weekend. I go down to the community hole on the weekend if I don't have anything to do just to check out what's up occasionally.

    I mentioned this before when I was fishing with the husband of my wife's friend. He strolled with a garlic chomper ALL DAY. Throw it out and let drag from shallow water out deeper until it was behind the boat. I asked him about the rules and he said no everybody does this.

    I like the Bullseye guy. He's near work and he has a lot of stuff in that building. Headed over there Friday for some treble hooks I broke off last week.

    I wish somebody would shoot a half dozen or so out my backyard. They have already started running their scrapes and rubs behind my house. Stupid thing literally rips apart my shrubs and bushes. Last year I had a game cam photo of 7 of them bedded up around my patio like it was their house. They eat everything they like down to the ground. Meat wagons will be out soon picking up the road kill.

    My son has drawn Busch twice but he hasn’t bagged one there yet. He island hunts the Mississippi now.     I wasn't planning on fishing tomorrow because of the impending doom. But I'm headed home to get the boat ready and we'll see what tomorrow brings.

    Really? Will it work on skunks too? We always strap everything closed. Unless we want some entertainment. Had a coon walk right up to the picnic table and grab a powder donut. He walked right over across the fire from us and ate it. We talked to him for about a half hour. He liked beer too.

    Nice work letting it go. I did the same thing last week. I thought about hauling it to Phil's but let it go while it was in good shape. That's a beauty!!!!!!! I'll be back in October!!!
