  1. Smoked em one year on April 1st. It wasn’t snowing during the bonanza as it was between fronts but still overcast and grey.
  2. I found them when the river was above 600 CFS on the eureka gauge but when it dropped below that, they were gone.
  3. Don't bother. My father in-law told me about 10 years ago that computer's and the internet were just a fad that's just about run it's course.
  4. Similar experience on that stretch before it froze over. I had fair success until the river dropped out so low the "holes" were no longer holes.

  14. Plus one on bobbers i like palsa because they cast well and are a hybrid between using a bobber or not using one. I grew up fly fishing without them

  18. I built a spinning rod when I was 10 - 12 years old. It's the ugliest most misaligned thing you've ever seen. It has caught hundreds of fish. I didn't even coat it. I just glued the thread on the guides.
