Four tons of tires, broken docks and trash picked up from Lake Taneycomo shoreline 2 hours ago • The Associated Press BRANSON, Mo. • A volunteer cleanup of Lake Taneycomo shoreline turned up nearly 4 tons of trash, including broken docks, tires and several fishing poles. The volunteers swept over 10 miles of the shoreline on the lake near Branson in an annual cleanup effort. They worked between a park near Forsyth to near the Branson Lakeside RV Park.

    Did someone say Snagged in Outlet 3?????!! I thought I heard that!! I picked this name years ago when Phil started the forum because of that fowl practice. This issue has been sliced and diced many times since then. IMO, it sucks but it's not illegal like in Arky land. Move on and don't let it ruin your day.     I went there when it opened and the fishing was very good for a while. It got a lot of pressure back then and as usual for an MDC Lake it got fished out of decent fish. Last time I went it was overrun with dinks. Seems like MDC advertises these lakes and they get killed. Not sure the internet is a good thing sometimes. Plastic worms were the ticket. Pete

    I'm in if the weather is decent. I don't want to burn a vacation day if the temps are forecasted below freezing. Those days are over for me. I have the freedom to wait for the weather to cooperate. I'm hoping my buddy will go too. Pete

    Great guide! I book him a couple times a year when down on vacation and they are running water. He has helped my wife and daughter catch dozens of trout per 4 hour trip. The love it. My daughter Sophie says "when you go with Brett, it's a catching trip, not a fishing trip" Pete

    Selling my moms car, only 24000 miles. White with tan leather, V6, auto, loaded. Even has navigation system. Too many options to list all of them. Heated seats, power everything. Still has new car smell. Thanks, Pete.

    Hard to plan a trip with a 4.5 hour drive for the water to run nearly round the clock. We were down 3 weekends ago and they ran one unit the whole time for 5 days. It's no wonder the fly shop went under. Can't they run a couple units at night and off during the day instead 1 unit continuously? Thanks for the opportunity to rant. Pete
