Table Rock Current Fishing Report 6-4-19
STLbassbuster replied to Bill Babler's topic in Table Rock Lake
KVD was using a discontinued Strike king King Shad with a feathered treble on the rear. It’s a sub surface jointed hardbait. He caught a bunch on it today. -
Looks like he mixed in a DT Rapala crank and caught some as well.
-
He caught 5 2 lb'rs on a red fin style bait, almost looked liked a Smithwick Rogue he slowly reeled in. Man I wish I was fishing!

I would look at the Humminbird Helix Mega units g2n or g3n, Garmin 93SV, Ray Marine Element, and any Lowrance gen 2,3, or carbon. I currently run a helix 10 g2n Mega and the image quality on SI/DI is pretty darn amazing & I really like the lakemaster mapping which allows you to highlight/target specific depth zones. I have also run Lowrance HDS units and Garmin's. Never had a problem with any of these brands and don't think you can go wrong with any of them. Any model I mentioned will be a darn nice improvement over what you have now. Their are some great youtube video's of tutorials that explains maximizing your graphs settings/features. Also I have bought used graphs for many years and never run the latest model or series as they depreciate quick with new technology coming out every year. My last piece of advise is buy the biggest screen you can afford!

BPT moving Grand Lake event to Table Rock
STLbassbuster replied to Sore Thumbs's topic in Table Rock Lake
It will be interesting since all the anglers know how their competitors were fishing. If the lake is still up by the start the shallow bite should still work. If not the dock & offshore bite should be the ticket. -
BPT moving Grand Lake event to Table Rock

Yep more viewers after work and some anglers will have to change up how they were fishing. Although the shad spawn and top water bite can turn back on in the evening. Plus Watson and McClelland get another shot at it. I will be watching again. -
Their was some really nice SM weighed in the big bass tour, I was fortunate to weigh one in a little over 4 lb's. Pretty sure a 6 was the biggest weighed in. Definitely a state record swimming around in the rock, bull, and Stockton where the current record was caught....
-
I definitely learned A lot about how effective a Shad spawn pattern can be. Bobby Lane caught a solid 4 today. Vinson was catching better quality in long creek on the spook man that was fun to watch!
-
I was impressed with Aaron he was rock steady today! Spot lock is worth every penny.

after watching each day of this series I also agree how much of a grind it really is. You have to make a top 20 cut twice then make a top 10 cut to fish the championship round. This is over six days of changing conditions. I'd rather chase 5 in FLW or BASS than chase 50 per day.

Boat flipped this morning as MLF guys headed out
STLbassbuster replied to STLbassbuster's topic in Table Rock Lake
Big difference between hydraulic and cable steering as well....... -
I am surprised the anglers that qualify to fish a knockout round agree to the weight's being reset to zero. Its a darn hard format when you look at it. They also cut 30 guys in this round...Pretty tough format really. I would like to see the top 20 fish the championship round and more payouts.
-
I agree and have seen very few fish re-weighed. They also have a backup scale in each boat. All the scales are calibrated prior to the event.
