You pretty much hit the nail on the head Jeff. They made that pretty clear in the few days I had spent with them. No negative feelings about it. I just decided that it wouldn't be something I would enjoy, or be interested in. The great thing about retirement. I can pick and choose the things I do in life. Not other people.
Not the least bit happy you had a challenging day, but you weren't alone. I myself stunk Monday up pretty good. Had one keeper and one short. Even with the help of other good anglers, I pretty much suck at this... Oh well, it could be worse. I could have been ugly too. lol
Merry Christmas to all of you and your loved ones.
It was a slow day in non-jobville as well John... A state of of boredom is usually paralleled by the delusional notion that people want to experience my wisdom... lol
I don't normally fish for Crappie this time of year, but I am looking to change that Monday. Where would my fellow Stockton anglers look for them this time of year? Just flat out guessing. I am thinking maybe pole timber around bluffs? Welcome some input on that. No specific description of your honey holes is necessary. Latitude and longitude would probably be enough. lol Mike
Ok, I'll apologize in advance. This is slightly off topic. I have thought about lasik surgery, but I always thought, I would still need readers. You don't use anything after your surgery?
To all the popsicles attending jigfest. Wishing you the best. Be safe, and have fun. Like last year. I look forward to your stories from the agony of da feets, to your personal triumphs. Sounds like a great time and great company. Good luck and safety. Gods blessings. Mike
I know what you mean wrench. Sometimes when I wear my favorite fishing thong at the ramp. I just can't help but feel like I am being used as eye candy by the the other old crusty dudes. lol
Well thank you for your reply. And you certainly have the right to your opinion. All I'll say to that. No one has ever handed me anything. I grew up dirt poor and uneducated. I didn't set on my hump and wait for your government to fix it. I did what I had to do to make a better life for me and mine. No I'm not entitled. I worked and sacrificed for every darn bit of it. Respectfully Mike...
