  1. I see no Shrimp in there
  2. Thanks Guy;s for the info
  3. When do you guys and gals start your seeds for the spring planting, up here in Missouri? Say your - Tomatoes, Cantaloupe, Watermelon, Squash, Broccoli, Colliflower, Cucumbers, etc. I am thinking 1st of March might work? You have to remember I am from Central Texas area and we can grow a lot of stuff year round down there, most years. Thanks as I am just wanting to get things prepared in the basement with the grow light and pads.
  4. I syre wish you all would stop posting JB.
  5. Thats Johnny for you. I would rather buy from a Mom and Pop shop anyday
  6. You have to save the deer. Thats why they put up the road signs for Deer Crossings. Missouri season is short for rifles in My opinion. There are areas where you should be able to kill them but all the Lib's/TreeHuggers/Animal Rights want them protected. Take Arnold, MO and other little areas. you cannot even bow hunt them. How far does an arrow fly. MDC needs to step in and say they need to be removed and allow hunting.
  7. You are so X'ed up
  8. Yes they are still open but right now only for Dinner, last I looked. I guess they are having a hard time getting workers also. We did eat there for lunch at least once a month, for years, till about 2 month's ago. You have to look at their website for the hours. And yes good food still. Pietro's is also very good and still reasonable. We tried them last month for lunch since Cunetto's was not open.
  9. The name of the cafe/Grill is Lazy River Grill, Sorry but the pictures on their web site is of their place. You should maybe try and go there and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed. May be owned by the same people I would assume. Yellowstone is in Town and Country, Lazy River is in Manchester.
  10. If anyone is interested, I have been here many many times and never had a bad Meal and their Walleye sandwich or plate is great also. They also have really good Onion Rings if you are into those. The decor there is geared around fishing also. Check them out when you get a chance you will not be disappointed. Lazy River Grill 631 Big Bend Rd Manchester, MO 63021
  11. Thanks, Sam
  12. We are light, like no hickory nuts this year here just north of Hillsboro. I suppose the late freeze we had in early May did the nuts in, this year. And yes they have been chewing limbs off more this year for some reason.
  13. Going to have to try this cole slaw recipe, it sounds delicious.
  14. Anyone been fishing the area where the ferry crosses over at Protem. How is the bass and crappie bite, right now. You can send me a message if you do not want to post it on here. What is the water temperature? How is the water clarity? Lake Level? Thanks
  15. Fished Truman for 5 days. Fishing was on 1 day off the next, all 5 days. Bass were biting well every other day. Days with wind were the best, no wind sucked. Nothing over 4 1/2 lbs. lots of 14 to 14 7/8'' fish and several limits of keepers. Oh ya Charlie's Buffet was okay.
  16. Has anyone eaten at Charleys Buffet out of Lincoln, MO at Truman Lake?
  17. Anyone been fishing on Truman lately? I am thinking about making a run there for a few days. Thanks
  18. When do you plant your sweet onion seed?
  19. Thanks, this works well for me, And I have a lot of silicone packs for my fishing lures and such. The Freezer it will be then. In sealing Glass containers/jars
  20. What about the freezer.? Or is that to cold? Have more space in the upright freezer than my house refrigerator.
  21. How are you all storing your seeds for next year, Through the winter? Wife says to store them in the shed, in Jars. I say store them in the basement in the jars. Does it make a difference?
  22. Cost to me for 100 board ft was $140.00 was green but had been layed down for 2 years. I laid it out for 4 days in the sun, no warping or cracking. Was not very wet/moisture in it. Hell I have bought 2x12's floor joist, wetter than this oak was.
  23. I found a guy on St. Louis Craigslist that has a small saw mill side business, out in North Jefferson County. Really nice guy. Will cut what ever you want reasonably. He just cut me some White Oak for a couple of raised beds I wanted to put in, besides the new Garden area. The boards measured 14 3/4'' x 10ft x 5/4, He cut them while I was there. Just letting you all know.
  24. Be grateful you are still breathing.
  25. I Know or Believe I know what the pipe is for, Fertilizer? Yes or No? But what are you using for fertilizer on your Maters? Thanks
