  3. I've got a Tabor 9k Winch. Been on my Jeep for years. Works good. The cable is in great shape. Pulls strong, Doesn't get hot. Only issue it has it won't Free Spool. Hasn't for years. I contacted WARN a while back and they said its common and a cheap simple fix. They told me it could be as simple as pulling end off cleaning and re-greasing it. But he also stated that a small clip ring could have broke. Which he said it's a really simple easy to fix. I just never bothered. $200 Located in Ozark, Mo Only selling because I upgraded to a 13k wireless set up. 20240429_151553.mp4

  5. Hasn't Johnny Morris been been doing this for years? How many companies has he bought out?
  6. Ya the far side isn't fished near as much as the ramp side. Even the far island can't reach the far side corner when casting. I fished this morning near the ramp. Fished the dam wall. Casting in the corner. Caught 2 decent size LMB there. Both pretty skinny though. Then caught 3 rock bass and 2 crappie fish just off the rocks. Not bad for 45min. Best times to fish down there is a small window. 1hr before daylight. As soon as the sun comes up. It pretty much shuts down. Find the Shade and fish the Shade or deep pockets during the hot days. Walleyes at the dam are rare. I've only caught 2 with rod in years. I've caught more by accident in my cast net. Been fishing that spot for many years multiple times a week(Mornings). It's on my way home from work. So I hit it a lot. Just to wind down some before going to bed.
  7. Otters are very mean and smart. I do a lot of night fishing. One of my spots I like is below the Dam at Lake Springfield. 99% of the time I can be the only one down there overnight during the week. Well, last year I happened to go over night 2 nights in a row. If anyone is familiar with that spot. There are 2 islands below. An older gentleman was on the 1st island and I was on the 2nd. I kept hearing what I thought was birds, but it was otters. Their chirps were echoing off the surroundings. Next thing I knew the old man is yelling and throwing everything he had around him at something. He was cursing and throwing rocks. Went on for a good 10min. I was laughing to myself, because I thought it was just a raccoon. As they always sneak up and try to steal bait. Well that very next night. I was out at the same spot. Only one there. Heard those Chirps again. Still thinking it was birds. Well an otter came up out of the water right in front of me. Making that chirping noise and acting really aggressive. I stood up and started to walk back and pick up hand full of rocks. This is were it got sketchy. As the 1st one was making a huge fuss in front of me. (12 o'clock) less then 10ft away. I heard something behind me off to the side. A freaking another one was coming (4 o'clock). So now I'm trying to keep track of these two otters. Next thing I know a 3rd one at my (8 o'clock). I'm freaking surrounded by them. I spent what seemed like forever, trying to scare them off, but man they wouldn't back down. They finally gave up, but it was the craziest thing I have ever had happen to me fishing. They tried to attack me like freaking Raptors from Jurassic Park. I finished fishing that night and they didn't come back. I spent the rest of the night on Google searching river otter attacks. It's not uncommon at all. Even Alaska Conservation Dept. released a warning that they have seen an increase in aggressive Otters and they can't explain way. I found a ton of stories. Singapore as such a large population of River Otters. They have Otter Gang fights. Google that one. Its nuts. I'd post a link, but I'm at work.
  8. Anyone have a link that still works?
  9. Nope, Was looking for this one. I ended up just ordering a new one today. Cashed out on the Upside App to a BassPro gift card.
  10. I went back today. They only have the upper track of them..no lowers. So still looking for a complete quick disconnect mouny for my Xi3.
  11. Thx, was there a few months back and they only had the metal MK mounts. I work not far from BassPro.
  12. Looking for a MotorGuide Quick Release Mount for my Xi3.
  13. I catch a few every year below Springfield Dam.
  14. So I've been fishing the lake and below the dam for years. One thing I've really noticed. As soon as the Sun comes up and warms up. The fish shut down. Seems like as early has 8am it becomes very hard to find fish. So what are better spots to target after that point?
