A good friend was just diagnosed with dementia and he's feeling the effects fast. We want to take him fishing while he can. Toss up between bank fishing at Roaring River, which we've done 2 or 3 times before, or a half day with a boat from Lilley's, probably on 10/26.
Thoughts?
I remember a commercial from when I was a kid (the 80s) in which a split bamboo rod was built, a fly was tied and a fish was caught. It may have been for beef or Texas-related. Idk but it's been driving me nuts for years. Does anyone else remember it?
My house is about the age of the brood. I wonder if the eggs/larva were destroyed when the neighborhood was built? I haven't bothered to check older neighborhoods in town, but RR is pretty significantly south of me. Who knows....
I'd love to hear more about it. How it came together. Who these guys are. What did you shoot it on and edit in on. I knew you were a semi-pro photographer, but documentary filmmaker too? Pretty cool.
Maybe some of that is in the film. Anyway, anxiously waiting.
I assume she's in MS or HS. She has have score at least 280/300 if MS and 285/300 if HS in a regular season meet to qualify for state. So I'd say she's doing just fine.
NASP has a very specific way to teach archery that does not always match the self-taught the deer hunters.
Here are the current rules if anyone wants to make an informed comment. https://education.mdc.mo.gov/sites/default/files/2023-08/2024MoNASPBullseyeRules.pdf
Here are the NASP 11 steps to archery success if anyone else wants to criticize her form. I'm sure a school near you would love another coach if anyone wants to get certified. It's a fun little Saturday with the MDC guys. Greg Collier has taught the certification course in the Springfield area if anyone knows him. https://www.naspschools.org/11-steps-to-archery-success/
