  1. Thank you sir for your reports👍
  2. Awesome fish👍
  3. Lake Cherokee- Longview, TX….. Went out to my parents’ place to practice fly fishing. Was throwing woolly buggers for largemouths, and this beast latched on. Never caught a carp before, but dang that was fun. At first, i thought, uh oh this bass is huge, but it felt too strong. Then i thought maybe i snagged a big blue cat or flathead. It stayed low and it took me forever to get it in. It took me to the backing, but then started swimming back to me. Finally i was able to wear it down and land it. It was hooked right in the upper lip. Released this dude, and it swam away strong. Super cool.
  4. Love your posts too netboy. Mucho appreciated and hope you always keep ‘em coming.👍
  5. Beautiful fish👍
  6. Sweet!
  7. Living in Salida would be a dream come true for me. Super cool little town and great location.
  8. Nice!👍
  9. Those are gonna be sweet.
  10. 👍Yes sir, thats what I do… Already missing that place. Cant wait till i can go back to the river again. Hopefully next time i’ll be bringing a fly rod too.
  11. I’ll have to get me some of those. I usually just flatten the barbs with my hemostats, but those would be handy. I had some of your jigs that i got from your shop when we went to Branson, but now i’m out. They work great. I need to place an order to replete my arsenal. A rock in the Arkansas River in Colorado claimed my last one. Lol…. Colorado trout like Lilley’s Jigs too by the way. Lol
  12. Hey phil. I fished Rim Shoals, Wildcat Shoals, and the State Park up by the dam. Rim Shoals and the State Park are barbless… On the Norfork, there is a barbless section at Ackerman Access.
  13. Had the weekend off, so me and the fam decided to head up to Mountain Home for some river time. The Norfork was too high, but the White was perfect in the mornings. Man, you guys are so lucky and blessed to have those rivers. I caught a lot of fish, and we had a great time. I caught a nice brown and 2 pretty little cutthroats which was super cool. Those were my first cutts ever. I even caught a little smallmouth which was a surprise. I caught all of these on marabou jigs. Here’s a few of the fish i managed to get to the net.
  14. Everyone at Deckers seemed laid back and friendly. No stink eye witnessed. Actually saw a few others with a spinning reel too. However, i mostly fly fished there, with my cousin as my complimentary guide. Lol… Deckers is a special place. I’d love to hike Cheesman Canyon someday and explore the river there.
