Ok - since the big bass event is over.....I am using this event as a pre fish to the OA get together.... Way more prestige if a person wins the OA.... so you folks better watch out!! Cause if I do half as good as I did at the big bass....the fish that I bring to the scales may weigh up to 1.5 lbs!!! I know - I heard the gasps through the Internet! I thought I should give you all a fair warning.... C4F

What these guys said....if you want to spend the $$$ and have something for everyone to do you cant go wrong with Big Cedar.....all kinds of price points with guides and plenty of boats to rent.....but you do pay for the convenience. I have looked at VRBO (www.vrbo.com) many times and that can be a good alternative for a large group / family then you can go off site to rent a boat etc. Have you considered going down to Taney and get him on some trout fishing? Lilley's (www.lilleyslanding.com) is a great place and they have a boat size, including pontoons that would be great for a family. C4F

And I am sure that yours is like mine....when the story is told she makes it sounds like it happened yesterday - even though it was years ago! Like yours mine was a worm / minnow / stink bait / bobber fisherperson....I would be on the TM and I would look back and I would be dragging her rig around...heck it was making wakes at times Finally got her on jigs while fishing Taney and the NED for Bass....after she caught a few she hasn't mentioned live bait since. You are approaching this all wrong - - all you have to do is say " no kidding right?" or "wow is all I can say" and usually they take it from there! You nod and smile and you are good to go C4F

I do play a little golf...got the Pings a few years ago and they serve me well...all though I do embarrass them at times While I do play for pop change I am just happy that I can net out when it comes to the number of balls that I started with and finished with! I spend more time fishing than golfing now a days. I am a bit to competitive, so I am told, for most sports / games....my wife likes to tell the story as to how I wouldn't let my kids win at chutes and ladders....I call it teaching them about life... and uncoordinated for things like BBall...and just dont like baseball.....and soccer is mind numbing to me!! I am all for a golf get together.....but can we at least move it a bit north? Heck - I think that I have spent enough at BP this year alone (yeah I know - if this were the BBC another 30 + post on that evil empire!!) that I might qualify as a share holder and get us on that fancy course there on TableRock!
