  1. Seems like a good price, think I know that dock.
  2. The man overboard incident I had during the OAF, I consider minor only because of the E-ladder. Without it, I might well have ended up in the water trying to retrieve my partner and I know you can hurt yourself getting in using the motor. I've had this ladder about three years but just installed it last week. Sometimes you get lucky, something to think about.

    oops

  4. Had a great time, meeting everyone, food was fantastic.. I must admit Daryk said he wasn't that familiar with bass boat protocol, we talked about where to step, stepping on seats, muddy shoes etc, but I didn't not tell him it was considered good manners to remain in the boat at all times. We caught fish on cranks, jig, and the little guy.
  5. Really, I've been refused use on some.
  6. I like it a lot. Handles pretty good, very strong, low stretch and outstanding abrasion resistance. I've used more of the premium than the XXX.
  7. Neds and finesse, 7 lb Sunline Shooter? Jig and worms 14 ln Sunline Shooter Jerks/flukes 10 lb Sunline Cranks 8lb Izorline Spinnerbaits/topwaters 40 braid or 20 Izorline

    Haze?

Lake was pretty smoky just above the mouth of the White to Point 28??. Lots of smoke on the water.
  9. Dementia took my Mother couple of years ago, feeling your pain and praying for you.
  10. Got probably close to 400 hrs on the 200 EFI, had it repaired under warranty at the 2.5 year mark for a leak. Break them in as specified and take your chances, I figured I could buy three of them before I'd spent as much as a Mercury lower.
  11. Thanks for the sympathy guys. I've always said I think the new Warts aren't that bad, just don't like the paint jobs as well, guess I'll find out.
  12. Couple of months ago my garage was broken into, lost a lot of tools and such but felt lucky my gear was left alone. Today I'm getting my stuff ready for the OAF and can't find my Wiggle Wart boxes, or my bag with tubes in it. I guess they did grab a loaded tackle bag I had laying in there. Lost at least 40/50 warts, some still in boxes, and all good ones, Phantoms and Natural Browns/Greens, Bone, Watermelons, most all the other good craw colors. Now I'm down to just my spare originals that aren't the best colors. I guess Hughsey will be getting a box from me, soon. Rant over.
  13. Put in at Shell Knob, to check out the boat, didn't fish but 15 minutes. I think main lake was 49, pretty colored, only ran towards Campbell Point. Talked to a guy taking out said there were a few floaters upstream.
  14. So seeking a better life overrides our immigration laws, I don't think so. Hard to ever convince me you are a good and moral person when you start by breaking the law. We have the only country in the world that has little to no border enforcement. Mexico's southern border is less porous than ours.
  15. It was clear creek, and I think it was mainly minnows.
  16. Looking forward to a little warm rain falling, and gently raising the lake, just don't need it flooding in all at once.
  17. There are a lot of spots up the rivers that I don't run because the channel is narrow.
  18. Now that's a fee schedule to be proud of, what doesn't have an additional fee?
  19. No, but I run AD and popup blockers. Pretty sure WISH is a shopping site.
  20. Looks like Daryk and I are hooking up.
  21. I'll have a seat available, if anyone needs a ride. I'm only offering a ride, no fish catching guarentee.
  22. I'll get buns to go with the meat
  23. I'd think if they are skinny and competing for food, they'd be a little easier to catch.
  24. I wimped out last year.
  25. Thanks for posting, Phil.
