Because the war in Afghanistan is on a smaller scale, we often don't realize that our current-day troops are enduring simillar atrocities and coming home equally broken. They need our prayers and support in the worst way. For that matter, our law enforcement officers are subjected to a lot of the same stuff "people should never have to see or be a part of." Pray for them, too, and thank them every chance you get.

Good job, Fishrman. Sounds like that front got them biting rather than hurting the bite. Donna and I fished a few hours Saturday morning on one of the Bella Vista lakes and they were biting decently, too. Work kept me home this weekend but hoping to spend next Sat-Sun on the water rather than staring at the computer screen.

I hear ya, J-Doc. That batter is an awful thing to do to any fish. Someday I'm gonna go find a striper or a few big whites and try your blackened recipe. Sounds mighty good.

Gabe and Jmontgo are right ... this is good stuff. I used it a lot on my Champion and it eliminates the need for any further waxing. Also cuts water spots pretty well.

Nope, that doesn't happen here. Unless it's in the 30s/40s and raining or something worse with winds 10-20 mph.

+1 on the vinegar and water. Exactly what our Ranger dealer recommends. After home washes, it gets a coat of Turtle Wax Ice spray and wipe.

Yup, you better enjoy the chase in this sport because most of us spend lots of time trying to throw the right bait in the right place at the right time. Only a chosen few are able to whack them every time out.

Purely a protective measure for us. Just make sure you get the vented one from Tuff Skinz. They do a great job and are very personable to deal with.

I have no Power Poles, jersey or buff but I do have a vented hood cover on our motor. Fishing docks as much as we do, it's inevitable that you're gonna bump your motor on them and scratch it up.
