  1. Nice. I’m officially jealous.
  2. Shouldn’t need a book to know not to be a douchebag. But obviously some of you do.
  3. I grew up in OK and they were always perch there. Sometimes they still are.
  4. Oklahoma has had mine since I took a hunter's safety course in 1984. Texas has it since my MO license # used to be my SSN#. Probably KS and AR too. Maybe even AL. In China, Nuevo León, Mexico we had to fill out our own licenses. We could have put anything we wanted on there. They just wanted the cash.
  5. Yep. At least the ones I have been looking at do. I have over 60,000 clicks on mine so I've been doing a bit of looking myself.
  6. A lot of the newer video editing software will correct that. Might not be perfect though.
  7. This isn’t something that MDC decided to do. This is something our politicians had to decide.
  8. I liked it!! Even clicked and gave you the little blue heart! I thought it was funny. Don't take mine the wrong way either. Just trying to have a little fun here. You can't take any of this stuff too serious. It's the internet! Around a campfire you would realize that I'm just an old sarcastic posterior. And it's a very rare occasion when I take anything serious.
  9. Never, ever said I was Junior.
  10. This is why all talk of religion and politics is not allowed on this sight. It creates problems and really they are the two most ignorant topics you can discuss.
  11. BS. The first post you made about Dicks was to stir the pot. Don't try to be an innocent little angel now.
  12. I have no fear of cats but I’d like to be able to do the same thing to them. Tired of the damage they cause digging everywhere. Still can’t understand why I get a ticket if my dog is running loose trying to run around licking everyone but cat owners get a free pass while the cats are digging up flowers to poop and using deck furniture as a scratching post. Guess it’s time to break out the BB gun or bow.
  13. Well if you find any rattlesnakes that like to eat roaming neighborhood cats I'll take a dozen of them.
  14. This one still baffles me. I have had several conversations with park people while drinking a beer at Roaring River. Nobody ever said anything. I never even knew it was a policy until that day I had a bottle sitting on your tailgate and you told me the story. So is the rule that you can't drink in these parks?
  15. Facebook is what you make of it. I promise you if you look at my Facebook feed you won't find any crap. Fishing, Music, Photography, Sports. All you have to do is stay diligent about who your FB friends are and what you follow. Lots of good stuff out there but you can't allow everyone that tries to friend you to be your friend on FB. And then delete the ones that do offend you continuously. My wife says "But I don't want to offend them by deleting them." Okay so you want to continue to be offended by them everyday? It's not hard to do. Just gotta do it right.
  16. I've been walking at the park every evening for free. I even got in an extra workout one night when I had to break up a dog fight. Plus the cash reward for saving a dog from certain death means I'm making money at this point!
  17. I refuse to let politics decide where I shop. Hell at this point I refuse to let politics decide anything in my life.
  18. No not on a fly rod but it just shows that a bait doesn’t have to be big to catch big fish.
  19. And I need a beer transfusion. Wrench is the man!
  20. My wife hit one at the intersection of West Bypass and Mt. Vernon at around 5:30pm several years ago. It can happen anywhere, anytime.
  21. Cool. Let us know how it goes. I might want to try that sometime myself.
  22. I caught a 10lb bass on a 4 inch worm.
  23. That's a beautiful part of the country. Good luck!
  24. So no pics of the deer? What kind of trip report is this?? Sorry John. I hope everything starts to work out and you find this move was worth it. I have traveled a lot over the years and I know that horrible feeling of your wife and kids needing something but your in an impossible situation to help. It can be really rough. I've been in the collision industry my whole life and I can tell you it doesn't take a very hard hit to do a lot of damage to a vehicle. The cosmetic stuff on the outside is easy, the structure that you can't see is what eats up the dollars. When we got away from those big huge bumpers and made vehicles safer it also meant the vehicles were more susceptible to expensive damage. I'm not sure what your ins company is using for their number but once the repair reaches a certain percentage of the estimated value of a vehicle they are going to total it.
