I saw one while fishing the PB2 area of Lake of the Ozarks back in the early to mid nineties. No doubt in my mind that it was a lion. I accidently trapped a bobcat when I was a kid so I've had a good look at them too. This was no bobcat.

I don't think that the 11 Point is a graduated level above Crane. Different yes, better no. But I don't consider the 11 Point a trout destination. Not when the smallmouth fishing is that good. Nice report.

The BPS in Springfield has a lot of people willing to help. Unfortunately most of them are unable to help. It's a knowledge issue. A couple of years ago I was in the fly shop at BPS around Christmas. The lad that was manning the fly shop that night was trying to help out this beautiful lady pick out a new pack for her boyfriend. You could immediately tell that the employee had no idea what a chest pack or sling pack was used for. She was gorgeous, he was nervous. He was way in over his head. Yes I could have helped. But it was more entertaining to watch. But when they were trying to put the chest pack on her for whatever reason and he had her step into the straps, I bolted. I couldn't take it anymore. I'm not sure if she was going to ride it or what. I might have missed part of their conversation so who knows.

Well that must be the only thing they have that is good, never been a fan of that particular chain. Or any of the other booby restaurants. But I do need to get busy and make a good meatloaf. Been a long time and that sounds really good. Maybe make a meatloaf pizza?

Yep that's the current status. They say they will replace the ramp by 65 once the bridge is replaced. We'll see.

Maybe not historically but the new generation of hunters is headed that direction. Spend some time on some of their forums and you will see it. Guys with $1,000 bows, game cameras, face paint, etc. upset that they can't kill a giant buck within the first hour over a corn pile.

Getting that oven good and hot is the key. I don't use a stone, probably should, maybe someday. But I make sure the oven is hot. There is a big difference in an oven that the preheat light just clicked off and one that has been sitting there for awhile in that heat. Geez, now I gotta go make a pizza.

I saw it on ESPN a day or two ago. If he had been the starter at Bama or OSU he would be suspended one game. The kid is going through some tough times with his dad so I will give him a pass. Some things are more important than football.

Pretty much. Until they replace the bridge over Hwy. 65 and rebuild the ramp. But I wouldn't be surprised if this is their way of eliminating power boats from the lake.

They do have security that patrols the parks at the lake that can write you a citation. I'd rather deal with a Sheriffs Deputy or City cop then one of the security guys. Some of them aren't real bright.

I agree. Why do that when you can stroke your ego by posting selfies of you and your fish. Just remember Scott that the more people there are at the urban fishing lakes the less people there are out there on the river with you and your ego.
