  1. That float jacket isn't going to be very comfortable in July.
  2. Wouldn’t surprise me.

    What's Cooking?

    rookies
  4. I love ya Patfish!! Good luck buddy. I’ll be checking on you.
  5. I’m sure I paid good money for those holes. I know I paid $70 for the shoes for that show. Can you see them??? Yeah me neither.
  6. Actually I have. The key is flexibility. I used automotive coatings with great results and never had any cracking or anything. But unless you know somebody that does that it isn’t going to be cost effective at all.
  7. One of my favorite pics of 2017. That’s my kid singing.
  8. Don’t forget about the wiggle minnow.
  9. James River Outfitters and Hootentown will shuttle you and your gear for a minimal amount and they are both great to deal with. Paddling up from an access is a good too. Lots of good water out there that is close to an access. A lot of it.

    Roll Tide!

That kid had the night of his life.
  11. Take the right just north of the bridge and follow it around to the right. Down towards the end there will be a little path off to the right that takes you down closer to the water. Warning!! The main road off of 133 looks like this after you make the turn south.
  12. If you can get it around him I'll drag him down the gravel road. He's been a rude idiot more than once.
  13. Why? It’s to support their bass fishing team. No different than any other school function.
  14. I wanted to go to that but other problems kept me away. That high school has a good program. Scott is doing a great job. And yes it would have been amazing to have this when I was in school.
  15. A lot of that damage could be from it sitting out there banging against those rocks all night.
  16. 11. When you are above laughing at yourself start calling names. It worked in grade school, it will work here.
  17. Yep, those are all ugly.
  18. In an effort to protect the fish that you are after it’s very important that you follow these trip report guidelines. It doesn’t matter that others have been forthcoming with information that has shown you the way, it’s your information now and it’s your responsibility to protect these fish at all costs. There are currently gangs of poachers using web spiders to scour the internet in search of the fish you catch. As soon as they have your information they will descend upon your river/lake and rape it of all resources. Next time you go all that will be left are the remnants of a few filleted fish bodies and carp. 1. Never ever let your smartphone capture you’re your GPS location. This is not only important for the fish that belong only to you but it will keep the NSA from tracking you down as well. 2. Never mention the body of water you are on. You found that spot on your own and built your own access to that spot so nobody else deserves to fish there. Ever. 3. Never mention the lures you are using. Exceptions include the ned rig, binks spoon, HD craw, whopper plopper, A rig, homemade subwalk or a common streamer that you gave a really cute name. 4. Never ever talk about your tactics. You figured that all out on your own and nobody needs to know that. 5. All photos should be grip and grins only. It’s about your ego, nothing else. 6. Make sure the backgrounds of all photos have been removed. Remember you are the only one that can stop the poachers. 7. Keep your skin covered at all times. 8. Be aware of identifying logos on the clothes you wear. People with binoculars are watching. 9. Don’t forget to talk about how big your fish was and how easy it was for you. 10. Always remember that this is a public forum. The information you share can and will be used against you.
  19. This isn't stopping you from posting any information that you want to share. It hasn't deterred me and it shouldn't deter anyone else form sharing whatever they want to share. Not sure why paranoid people hang out on the internet. But that doesn't matter to me either.
  20. Or they just don't give a fying fluck.
  21. Not the best access in the world but the area where 133 bridge crosses has good water like you are looking for.
  22. I'm with Wrench on this one even though I rarely use them except in the salt.
  23. I don’t think you can go anywhere once and make a decision on if it’s better or not.
  24. Probably has more to do with $$$$$
