I only know one person, personally, that died from cancer "for smoking". He also had some pretty good exposure to agent orange too so I'm not so sure.
I know a lot of people that have died in car accidents. And based on the sales at the stores I'm responsible for, you guys aren't getting any better at driving.
Wrench has zero chance of getting attacked by a shark. ZERO. I have had two close encounters and continue to go swim with them. Does that make him smarter than me? Oh hell no. LOL
You choose your own risks.
Try it sometime in Feb-Mar. Then you can just locate with a big spinnerbait.
Probably been there fifty times, but only from November to March. Never tried it in the summer.
And I never did see any alligators! But spent most of my time in Birch or Little Mustang. Love that lake.
Not only that, and that is a huge, huge part of it. But it sucks to try and find anything. If you don't catch it the first time they feed it to you, you may never ever see it. I have trouble finding posts that I have made, in groups that I manage. Groups suck.
Take my money Phil.
Used to not be able to get in at BB unless you had private access. Has that changed?
While I still play around in that area, it's been a long time since I fished anywhere below O. Until you get around Morrisville. But in high school we were all over that thing. Whether we had access or not! But things were much different then.
I seriously doubt it’s hurting. All the float places are busy as hell.
But there are a lot more people on the water. I went to Paris Springs access on Turnback Creek late yesterday. Five years ago there might be 3 or 4 cars in the parking lot. Yesterday there were 29. I just turned around and headed on out.
I almost went that direction. I had it in my head that the 3 wt line and reel were going to be too much for the one I got and I was close to going with the 4 wt. But for some reason I just had to fish that short rod. Probably need a smaller reel but the line worked out perfectly for launching flies way bigger than what was intended.
