I like 8 weights and sinking lines. I hate those leaders that Wrench uses but I'm not as good of caster as he is.

When I was 16 I took a hit and destroyed my knee. I was told at that time it would have to be replaced by the time I was 50. Turn 52 next month and I'm probably 5 years overdue for that. Glad to see the process is getting better. Gotta survive a kid wedding this summer and then I'm going to get this thing done. I think the left one will make it another 5 years.

They exaggerate to keep people watching. That is the single most important thing to any news you see or hear. More viewers means more money. If you ever watch KY3 in Springfield you understand. Every storm is the end of the world.

.heic has been around for awhile. Since iOS 11 I think. It’s a crappy format unless you just want to see those pics on an iOS device. They could have solved the same issue by putting micro SD cards in their phones and staying with regular formats. But they are a company that likes to force their way upon people. And yes I use apple products.

Yep. Ours was out earlier this morning. Now our store downtown is out. Also have people in Ft. Smith that have them going too.

Year before last? I don’t know where the pics from last spring are but we didn’t do as well. Keep in mind we aren’t spending a lot of days trying to make it happen. We go. We catch fish. Sometimes we catch more than other times. But I can only think of a few times since high school when we didn’t find something. -

Gasconade, Eleven Point, Big Piney, Buffalo... Lots of places to choose from. None of them are going to be totally secluded but they do offer good fishing and at that time of the year there won’t be a ton of other people around. Some of the smaller rivers you would be better planning around 8 miles per day just depending on how you fish. You can either shoot for large distances each day, cover a ton of water, and catch lots of fish. Or you can do shorter distances, relax a bit, and still catch lots of fish.

Clouser minnows and wiggle minnows are all you need. Sinking line helps. Getting them to bite is usually fairly simple as long as you are patient. Finding the little bastards is the hard part.
