  1. I was hoping Mike M would get into the knockout round. Poche made a good run.
  2. Can even catch them on rolled hooks. He is a machine. Watson doing well too. Doubt many are up above Hurricane Deck.
  3. Probably need to redefine middle class. Used to be a family strived to have one good job, a house, and a vehicle. They didn't farm out the raising of their kids. Typically the Mom was home and the Dad worked. These folks typically attended church. Now, a working Mom and Dad have a huge house, flat screens, and every other convenience one can think of, they use public schools as their daycare, and use daycare when the kids aren't in school. Others aspire to have it all, yet are too lazy to work and want the Govt. to pay their bills and raise their kids. Pay attention in the grocery store and watch some of the folks who use assistance. Many have high end jewelry, top of the line phones, and frequently get into high end vehicles. I'm all for providing a hand up to those who need it, but am against all handouts to those that don't need it or are to lazy to work. Bottom line if you can't afford kids don't have them.
  4. Good job Phil. Lucky for the pooch you heard it.
  5. It will be interesting to see if the live scopers fare well in this derby. Should be a relatively shallow bite.
  6. Never understood the tiki hut decorations. Saw several on docks at LOZ the last few weeks. Looks like a grass fire waiting to happen.
  7. So who are the favorites to win this event? Any truth to the rumor that James Watson is staying at Wrench's place?😁
  8. Listen to Vernon and stay away from Blue Springs Marine.
  9. A rainbow trout was caught in Lake Jacomo during a March tourney.
  10. fshndoug you stocking smallies again?
  11. Pretty sure Pelosi won't get hers cut off.
  12. Not a fan of designer dog breeds. Plenty of folks out there that should NEVER own a dog as after a few weeks to a year they are bothered by the animal and don't take care of them. Of course, I also believe most folks should never own and/or operate a boat as they know not what they are doing.
  13. Weird beliefs on both coasts.
  14. Typically it is Hold my beer and watch this....
  15. Probably used to "Entertain" clients.
  16. Not sure how would you know that Doug.
  17. They on the KC side of the lake or the Spfld side?
  18. Apparently the boat ramp at Johnson Brothers Marina has been torn out and thus un-useable. Anyone know of a useable close ramp? Will gladly pay to launch and load. Wigwam is a pretty fair poke.
  19. I used to be amazed that wherever the Pros went at whatever time of year they flat caught fish. I was in awe of their knowledge and abilities. Then I came to find out that they hired guides, and had locals doing their footwork for them. Basically found out the truth about the Pros. I was no longer in awe. The ability to find fish or be led to fish is still the key to tourney angling. Not once in all the years I have watched tourneys has anyone ever thanked their guides or the locals that put them on fish. Instead they "peacock" and make it all about them. Now they have FFS to find their fish. Probably end up like wrestling and have everything staged.
  20. Got one you can have if you want it.
  21. Plan which ramps to use and areas of the lake to fish based on the predicted winds. Areas on Stockton can get up and ugly in no time.

    What's Cooking?

Hard to beat a good slice of sourdough bread
  24. Is what you refer to as rock snot the same as cold water algae? Always thought it was related to water temp.
  25. How did the catch/prove Blevins and Blevins were cheating? If they still allowed them to fish after banning them that is on AIA. One would think that their entries would drop do to it being operated like a clown show.
