  1. Jeff,

I see from your posts that you are not using skirted jigs much but am curious if you might have some constructive criticisms about the jigs I sent you last year?

It seems to me that GP with some Purple Candy strands have worked best for us with GP Purple flake craw trailer. With PBJ a close second.

Our place is at the junction of the Kings and White and it gets real busy here as the kids camp opens up at Point 22.  My wife and I are interested in exploring the fishing a little further up the White and would welcome any suggestions for spots upstream of Point 23. The only other place we are familiar with up there is Viney Creek.

I am still making all types jigs and many plastic baits and would be happy to make you anything I am able to. Still just doing it as veteran charity fundraiser.

Thanks for your regular and encouraging reports.

Thank you for that information.  We have been trying out some homemade swim baits 3.5". and have had some good luck with them especially early.  I hope to get a chance to make some more of them this week and would be happy to share if that is a bait you like to fish.

Mike - They were really schooling on the point at Viney this morning.  You have to get there early, like around 0545.  After the top water bite slowed down, they hit a 3.3 Keitech.  Sure, I would be happy to try out some of your 3.5" baits.

I donate money every year to Disabled American Veterans.  They have a van locally that picks up vets and takes them to the VA.  Seems like a good charity that serves veterans.
