Fall is tough for fishing, September is always a tough month for me. Seems like winter hasn't started yet, but that will change tomorrow. But heck we're only 2 months away from March!

I hear ya, someone needs to start a 1st fish of 2022 thread.

Put in the water about 10 AM and fished until 3:30. Started off really slow, threw the Rock Crawler for an hour without a bite. Went back into Indian and fished the trees with a Ned rig and finally started picking up some fish, but most were dinky 10-11 inch smallmouth. Caught a couple that were close to the 15" mark, but not quite. For the most part they were fairly shallow 5-15 feet. Decided to throw the Crawler again out in the main basin, picked up a couple of keeper sized largemouth, which is unusual, it is usually pretty much a smallmouth show once you get away from the trees and docks, but I'll take them especially on a slow day like today. This will be my last day of fishing in 2021, Happy New Year! WT 54

I would like to fish it one of these years, but not this Saturday.

Anyone going to fish it? Looks to be some challenging weather conditions. Of course, it is not a real Polar Bear without adverse weather.

That is a bunch of fish. I caught fish today on the Ned rig, but little doinkers in the 10-14 inch range. Nice day to be fishing.

Well the ones I am seeing today are Midway USA (visited that site yesterday), some ad about dude necklaces and that's it. There is also the pop up ads that change every time you open a page that appears at the bottom of the page, the one you can click "I don't want to see this ad again", but as you noted, if you do that it just brings in another ad.

Yessir, that is one of my get 'em loose tactics, and get on the other side of them and they'll pull out sometimes. But every once in a while they just get stuck and I have to get out the dog. Problem with the dog is if it is a windy bank it is a pain to get the boat over it and at the same time work the dog.

Yeah let's go sometime.
