    Crowded Out

It's really annoying to get cut off.
  4. Walleye seem to be doing really well in Beaver and TR this year, been picking up one or two just about every time out while bass fishing. Mostly keepers also, usually this is not the case for me. Never been over to Bull Shoals, but word has it they are knocking them dead there. Kudos to the AGFC walleye team.
  5. An inch a month, that's pretty impressive.
  6. Ask Jason Essary to post the Mill Creek night tourney results - those guys always have some big bags.
  7. HAHA, that is funny! And as said above, by coming here you've come to the right place for "Help".
  8. That is a huge gill for sure!
  9. I'm still looking for one of those..
  10. I hate chiggers...
  11. Me and my buddy Jeb were out there yesterday, it was certainly slower than the past weeks have been, but we did find some fish. With the light winds and flat calm, we found that it helps to find a bank or point with a breeze on it, the bite also picked up a bit during the rain that fell later in the morning. Most of our fish were on Carolina rigs, with a few on top water. Best baits were Zoom UV Speed Craws and Zoom Ol' Monster worms. We didn't go back in the coves, mainly fished main channel stuff, points and just inside coves.
  12. Yeah, my guess is that the state of AR stocks those trout and wants any money they can get to offset the cost. Personally, I'd think that if you buy the WRL you should be able to buy an AR trout stamp and fish for those trout.
  13. Good deal Ham, you guys whacked them! I haven't thrown that spy bait yet, kinda forgot about it. I'll have to get it tied on.
  14. I hate ticks...
  15. I've caught a couple of T Rock walleye on it, so it should work in the Great White North.
  16. Let's see if I can paste it in: Yep, there you go! Beaver Tailwater | White River from 100 yards below Beaver Dam to boundary signs at Houseman Access. A trout permit is required. Anglers may use no more than one fishing rod or pole and must attend it at all times. Daily limit of five trout. All trout from 13 to 16 inches in length must be released immediately and may not be in possession in this area. Only one fish exceeding 16 inches long may be kept. Bait fishing allowed with a single hooking point. No other devices may be used to catch fish other than as specified for the paddlefish-snagging season. Beaver Tailwater Special Regulation Area | Approximately 0.5 miles below Beaver Dam to approximately 100 yards upstream of Parker Bend Access as indicated by signs. Artificial lures only area/no bait zone. Only artificial lures or flies shall be used. All hooking points must be barbless. Natural or scented baits are not allowed. Chumming is not allowed. Paddlefish Snagging Season | From Beaver Lake Dam, (from the Corps of Engineers “No Fishing Beyond This Point” sign downstream) to the first Corps boat ramp on the left descending bank. From April 15 to June 15, snagging game fish is legal. Snagging must be discontinued once two trout have been taken. Snagged fish may not be released.
  17. There's a barbless, artificial area only, doesn't matter what you are fishing for you have to use barbless artificial lures. There's also an area you can bait fish with barbed hooks. Get a copy of the regs, or go to the AGFC website to get details on the boundaries.
  18. Welcome!
  19. I felt compelled to post this: FORSYTH, Mo. – A big fish and a state-record certificate has made a recent fishing trip to Bull Shoals Lake memorable for Evan Miller. While bowfishing on May 1, the Indianapolis resident harvested a 6-pound, 10-ounce quillback at Bull Shoals. A quillback is a member of the sucker family that’s found statewide, though it’s most common in the clear prairie streams of central and northeastern Missouri. Miller’s fish set the state record for quillback taken by alternative methods (the old mark was 1 pound, 14 ounces). The fish measured 23 ½ inches in length and had a girth of 16 inches. Miller’s catch was certified on scales at the Missouri Department of Conservation’s Shepherd of the Hills Hatchery in Branson. The Missouri Department of Conservation's State Record Fish program recognizes an angler’s top achievement – catching the biggest fish of that species in state history. Anglers who have fish that meet the criteria are awarded a plaque and will be entered onto the state record fishing list. Anglers who catch unusually large fish but fall short of state record weight can get recognition through the Missouri Department of Conservation’s Master Angler Award program.
  20. More pressure on The Rock this year? Seems like it to me.
  21. Thanks for the report, Gitn - smallie must have been fun on the light tackle.
