  1. Git Suger Britches to give you a good massage. Maybe things will pop back in place. Or go out and get a salon paas patch, kinda of a muscle relaxer.
  2. Pussie s don't live long either.
  3. Go over and see Oneshot. He may have some meds to help.....
  4. Alive and kicking is all that really matters.
  5. Its a rub down either way. Only real medicine can get to the cause of the pain.
  6. You have to cross a mountain to get to Asheville. Or go thru the pass at Johnston City. I was in Boone several times on business. Pretty place, too many liberal tree huggers though. Going to Hot Springs this weekend, same thing, liberal tree huggers.
  7. I second the back crackers, they are quacks that seem to think they can solve everything. But they give a good message to relax the spot that is pinched. They may be able to move the bones away from each other and relieve the pinch. But their voodoo is not usually covered as conventional medicine for insurance purposes. An Occupational Therapist could help, but they bend you over worse in the pocket book.
  8. Summer is over and fall is coming on. Going into winter with 6 hives, and 2 new beekeepers started off mine. I had honey off one hive this year that was the lightest I have ever had. I did separate runs off each hive this year instead of just lumping it together. This marks my 10 year anniversary of beekeeping as of July. I am a seasoned vet.
  9. Buzz in for interview in wheel chair, have to take you sitting down then. It's the law.
  10. I have at my disposal many handguns, all keep growing in value. Or some just don't shoot that well. Working on the tractor at the farm, I need a fast sidearm to handle things that may need shooting as I do my brush hogging or whatever. 22 lr is the best choice usually. There have been times an AR would be choice. But the thought in my head is whatever I have may get knocked off and run thru the chopping blades or under the tires. And the dust, seeds, and other crap I stir up tends to choke things down. I walked into our new Rural King back in May on a Monday after work and found this for about $249.00. Keltec P 17. Mostly plastic except for a portion of the slide and fire control and the spring in the mag. Fiber optic adjustable sights. 3 16 round mags in the box, all controls work right or left handed. Just in case I need to shoot left handed. And it weighs next to nothing and is a full size handgun. Targets at 15', off handed.
  11. They do, seen them all float, even rattlers. Big 5 foot timber rattler went across the creek one time above me while fishing. Seen them on lake a few times. Copperheads will swim across, but don't really seem to like it.
  12. Been fighting spiders all summer. Farm house is infested with them, sprayed twice and still have webs everywhere I go. They like to build webs in front of cameras outside, they can see the light from infrared. The webs have just enough motion to trigger alarm. And when spider crawls across I get shot of huge alien bug.
  13. My river boat is a Tracker Panfish 16 with 25 jet. Fun boat, sit up front and run motor or troll motor. Good visibility when running.
  14. I have seen the dark spots. Happens in TN alot on TN River. Flukes, fungus, parasites, herons all cause black spots. Some game agency sent out an email last month on it.
  15. I remember them well. He came to my shop in Cape Girardeau and did a fly cast work shop with the Orvis rep. I would visit with them at the Springview each time I went to Bennett. Shop has been closed for years. Kay made a MDC cover about women and fly-fishing if I remember right.
  16. Cottonmouths are easy, they float on to of water like a copperhead or rattlesnake. All others are mostly submerged.
  17. Pull an all nighter and catch them off guard at sunrise.
  18. But it looks like you were teal hunting. Week early and off target on the species.......
  19. And it did. Well, stood its water. This feller swam out to the boat and swelled up in this pose for about 10 minutes. The it swam off. The Duck River in TN was crawling with the Cottonmouths last weekend. Some kind of event had them out in force. I saw 7 in the 4 hour fishing trip. One pair was doing the dance spiraled together and bobbing heads. Happened too fast to get a pic. Poison snakes have been moving for the last few weeks getting ready for fall. Nice little rattler at the farm and 2 copperheads while running the brush hog in one field.
  20. And bags of Fava Beans to go with them Clarice....
  21. Anything could be canned, just don't know what it will be like opened up again. I would have frozen in ziploc bag.
  22. Bones heal, you will be up and around in no time. Keep up the good spirit.
  23. Put a jet pump on it and make it a river boat.
  24. I caught a crappie off that twig one time. Is that the high dollar Sea Deck on that boat or the knock off stuff?
  25. MRE probably better nutrition than fast food. Even the expired ones.
