  1. I don't put plants out till middle of May here and I am 60 miles south of you at the Hillsboro address. At your rate, you will be picking tomatoes by that time if you treat them right. Tomatoes like heat and sun. I have put them out early, but they never seem to perk up and take off outside till middle of May.
  2. They do look goofy in the scope don't they. But usually fool the ones that use open sights....
  3. Coon is greasy. But tasty BBQ'd. I ran a BBQ joint the last few years in College, had a customer that brought us in a bunch to smoke for a wildlife dinner. We tossed many of them to the dogs and hogs growing up. We raised champion coon hounds and hunted all of the time. Best night, worst night, we killed 17. That meant cleaning 17 of them. Bagged them up as green hides and froze them for market. Back in the 70's, a good big one would bring $30 35 at market, green. Now, you would be lucky to get 2 or 3 dollars for a cured hide. Or less. But we never eat them. Or skinned a possum.
  4. Are you looking for a new motor. I would go somewhere outside of St. Louis to do it.
  5. Makes a killin off of them.
  6. I like the fish to know when I come across the lake, I will stick to gas motors.
  7. Try Road Hunting, Google Maps has a good app for that. Don't even have to get out of the car, or truck.
  8. Do you think the coon and new puppy will get along?
  9. I would probably look online for an old topo map before the lake was formed and then look for references for springs in old river bed areas. Several lakes I have fished have flooded springs that are warmer than surrounding water in the winter. Blue Springs and Sulpher Springs at Lake Wappappello. Not sure about Stockton, only fished it about 10 times now. I am sure it has a few too. USGS has historical topo's, I think they have some that predate the lake online.
  10. Just how fast do you want to run in a freezing morning before sunrise across a shallow stump filled marsh full of flying things half groggy from no sleep???
  11. Prescription meds.... That Morphine high is more than $7
  12. The full auto bb guns are pretty unimpressive. They burn thru the CO2 too quick. I had one of the Crosman full autos. For a day, went back to store.
  13. Did you start at the base and work your way up?

    Bad Boys

There is a slight jump till the bullet hits the rifling that may lead to problems.
  15. Too much paperwork
  16. Unless you pay for the stamp, full auto is illegal. Bump stocks are gone and a waste of ammo. Back to the AR. Excellent rifle for a disabled shooter. Soft gas action, accurate, and the pistol grip/adjustable stock adapts to all shooters. My Daughter and Grandson have used 300 Blackouts that I have built to take deer with success. One shot kills, equal to a 30-30 Winchester to power and range performance. 5.56 is good for varmits, weak for deer in my opinion. I have build 3 in the new 350 Legend and like the accuracy. Long range shooter is a 6.5 Grendel, better performance in the 3-400 yd range. Since the last surgery tweaked the nerve running across the front of the right shoulder, I have been recoil sensitive. The pulse of the AR does not seem to affect my accuracy like touching off my 30.06 bolt rifle. I have some pistols built also with braces to support my weak right arm.
  17. The young gilts make good eating. Why just drag them off to rot?
  18. You have to be a fool to believe anything on the internet, why would the fuzz think any different?
  19. Oneshot is not questioning his abilities with a firearm or accidentally shooting anyone. He is worried about waking up one night and being mistaken for a criminal in his own house by some law agent at the wrong address serving a warrant. That is a bad day.
  20. Original OP said he like the Kidd Rock, I wanta b a cowboy baby. But my horsies are bathed in water.
  21. Well I'm packin' up my game and I'ma head out west Where real women come equipped with scripts and fake breasts Find a nest in the Hills, chill like Flynt Buy an old drop-top find a spot to pimp And I'ma Kid Rock it up and down ya' block With a bottle of scotch and watch lots a crotch Buy a yacht with a flag sayin' "Chillin' the Most" Then rock that female doggy up and down the coast Give a toast to the sun, drink with the stars Get thrown in the mix and tossed outta bars Sip the Tiajuana, I want to roam Find Motown, tell them fools to come back home Start an escort service for all the right reasons And set up shop at the top of Four Seasons Kid Rock and I'm the real McCoy And I'm headed out west sucker because I wanna be a [Chorus] Cowboy, baby! With the top let back and the sunshine shinin' Cowboy, baby! West Coast chillin' with the Boone's wine I wanna be a Cowboy, baby! Ridein' at night 'cause I sleep all day! Cowboy, baby! I can smell a pig from a mile away

  23. Somebody tried to derail with a Styx song. Nice beehives. I like Kid Rock too.
  24. Pics are incriminating. That is what gets people busted all the time now. Can't get away with squat. Those were the good ole days.
