I waded thru the masses on a daily basis last year, everyday. Being in construction, I was a "essential service". I was deemed at risk by my physicians, and took the shot as soon as I could this spring. But I never had a sick day. I was at work while all were sitting around playing on the net, fishing, hunting, camping, and enjoying the time off. Or better yet, working from home. Social distancing with this one is the key factor. I never wore the mask. When the virus became aerosol, it could make it thru most std mask devices. Into the moist surfaces of the nose when you inhale and the mouth. It does not last on surfaces or jump very far. But spend time in closed places with someone that has it, then you are asking to catch it. I kept myself outside of homes and away from people several feet. Not much handshaking on deals when complete. Factories were always masks on with std PPE like safety glasses, hi vis, and steel toe boots. But I kept distance and still do. The vaccine does not keep me from getting actual Covid, it just lessens the chance of my severe reaction to the real disease.

It was a woman, friend of the owner of the business. But that was the way she scolded the dog. Not like an animal, but a kid.

I have the vaccine. My inlaws are vaccinated and one is on Oxygen in the hospital with Covid. I fully understand that the vaccine science is good and makes sense. But it is a choice. I fight for freedom of choice.

Was bit 3 times last year in the course of my work. Mid size collie type, poodle, and stock dog. Owner standing right there each time. Collie type dog had 4 more that over powered the owner getting out of the door to get after me. Poodle owner told the dog to apologize to me. Stock dog was just a herding response that needed to be broken, nip to the ankle as trained. All paid for the mistake in overcharge for the merchandise. Good friend has a pound rescue pit in house with another dog. We visited this spring and I fought the pit the whole trip. Cornered me coming up the stairs from basement each time. If I went out the front or back door, she was there tearing stuff up trying to get at me. Did not bother the wifey one bit. Maybe its the smell of dog killer on me, I have killed many in my life.

The social shaming going on about the Vaccine is pretty bad. All the way up to Potus. It's America and we have a choice. Just like the mask shaming about wearing a piece of cloth that makes the scared sheep feel better, now they are doing it with the vaccine.
