I did buddy! I am thinking like wrench that a bigger slower bullet would do the trick.

With a air rifle yes 🤗. I got one specifically for a 22. Supposed to bounce around as you shoot it. Crazy thing just sat there in the grass as I shot it numerous times. BilletHead

Well after meeting and fishing with you buddy I understand fully where the girls get it as you are the circus ringmaster :), BilletHead -
Had some of the loin roast left from when I cut off slices for last weeks pounded out and fried tenderloin sandwiches . So today I cut that roast in half, seasoned and put in the sous vide cooker for two hours at 135 degrees. When pulled from that I heated a cast iron skillet to scorching hot outside. Drizzled in some of the Thai pepper infused oil i worked up. Tossed in the loin and seared on all sides and end. Rested that three minutes and sliced. Moist and tender, Mashed taters and pass the peas please, The Mrs. was happy to come home from work to this, BilletHead

Looking forward to report DJ, Thanks for the invite but not going to make it this time have a great trip and try to sleep some if you can 🤣, BilletHead -
I had to get tomatoes in the ground last weekend. Tired of babysitting them in the starting and transfer pots. Some were so long and lanky and ready to bend and break. Planted some two foot deep in the self wicking tubs. Ended up with fourteen of the wickers completed. To the right of the lettuce bed more tomatoes planted in a bed. Speaking of lettuce, Will be gifting some of this 😀. Have peppers and herbs in pots awaiting their places in the garden, BilletHead

So you don't need them? I can readdress the box if there is anyone that would like matched turkey secondary's. BilletHead

Wrench buddy, All I can say is if every survivor did not pursue his or her treatment some of us would be very lonely and broken hearted. Cancer used to be a death sentence for some. With treatment now not so much. Ask a few members on here . BTW I have a box ready to mail to you in the next couple of days, BilletHead

She needed this trip worse than I. First trip out for her. After she got her last turkey I asked her what she wanted to do. FISH! BilletHead

No we are not talking Cher singing on a battleship here. We are talking a white bass report, Mrs. BilletHead and I had a pretty nice morning outing . Water temps 61 to 63.5 degrees. Windy, very windy and overcast. Sprinkle or two. Shot one shoal and stayed below the second. Started by anchoring in two foot of water. Mrs. BilletHead had two fish before I could get a cast in. We would work an area. Pull anchor drop and repeat. Pat used floating line. I literally fought sink tip in the shallow water. Getting snagged a bunch. Actually she was beating me up pretty bad until I switched to floating line. Clousers would go deep enough and snagging problem disappeared. In the thin water just smallish males. As we worked to a max depth of five feet larger fish showed up. There was a stretch of maybe a half mile of straight river we fished between eight AM until ten-thirty before picking up and heading to the ramp. in the deeper water we used the trolling motor until we hit fish and dropped anchor again. Pink over white Clousers and chartreuse over orange is all we used. The Mrs. shooting one out, Proof channel cat like pink, Pat had white bass thumb today, I caught one of the biggest whites I have ever caught today. The rule here is 15 inches. Got a good measurement at home. Wouldn't make 18 inches but close, Totals when we remembered to click . Never seen another soul until we got back down river. Good day to spend with my bride and best friend, BilletHead

MDC approves fish salvage during June at Schell Lake
BilletHead replied to Phil Lilley's topic in General Angling Discussion
Not too far from BilletHeadVille, May have to go up and watch. Many moons ago they used to let folks do this in the drained duck area. There would be ditches and pools full of carp and other rough fish or native and non native if you want to call it that. Those fish would die off during the summer so it would open up for a weekend of seining. I would watch that. Men, women and children would be in that muck herding fish and pulling seines. The muddy water would stink as they stirred it up, so thick it would look like you could walk across it. Fish jumping, people hollering. it was actually pretty comical. This may be an epic event to witness, BilletHead -
We were trespassing ? 😨 That would be neat to see sometime, BilletHead

Did you get a free 8X10 with each package you order for all of the tiers? I think a you tube walk around video with a narrative description of each fly would be appropriate, BilletHead

She only started putting me to shame and then I caught up . You are right I can curl up there and take a nap. Would of slept longer but some guy with me during jig fest kept saying oh did you see that I missed one! Hey if you could get me over to that log I bet there is a big brown over there! Look at all those fish! Wonder who that would of been? 😆, BilletHead
