Good job Dan!

Oak mites are bad here and big black horse flies are starting now pinging off vehicles as we drive down the dirt roads. Ticks less as are the chiggers. Getting a bit of moisture that might be changing that. One major thing we did see this gardening season were less insects in the garden. Not a tomato worm at all. Very few shield bugs either. Squash bugs were minimal. Bees like the squash blossoms so I do not like to put anything on the squash plants. I tried to remove as many eggs off the leaves as I can. What did hatch never exploded into masses of beetles. It was a different year for sure.

Still not enough for a bunch of hens cackling.

Good job, I hope you had the tunes cranked up on the headset. I bet that was needed also.

Isn't it neat to be bitten by the flyfishing bug? I like to see you enjoying it. You will never be over this "silliness" as you call it. The catching is your goal, but the process is an important part of it and to me it can be the most fun part. Look at you, tying your own flies, tinkering with your gear, searching for the right rod, reel and line combination for your target species. Research and travel. All in all, you spend more time in the process than the catching by far. Look at you go friend!

Did you watch that match yesterday between the pro team from Washington state and New England? I just watched the ending as it looked interesting. I learned one thing though. You have to pass the ball backwards to go forward. This so far is the only thing I know about rugby other than you have to be tough and don't want to be on the bottom of the dogpile.

Guess all I need to worry about is the netting on the bottom and glue and the purple plastic cleaner. That stuff melts the plastic. Can you look that up for me too? 😁
