Yes, we did. The jam did look enticing. Lots of gulls up and down right above and below the bridge. Tiny shad flipping that the gulls were getting. The Neosho was really dingy as opposed to the Spring side. Locals said that the spring was not clear enough to do any good.
Good day for you Jeff and spot on about the weather. @curtisce called me last evening and wanted to know if I wanted to go to Spring River in Oklahoma. We found some White Bass and crappie in the deeper part of the river near the lake. Water was glasslike most of the day. The black vultures greeted us at the launch.
Valentine breakfast,
Since the one near and dear to my heart will be working Valentine's Day, I prepared breakfast this morning. Staying with the theme we did waffles with a vintage cooking tool.
Figured out the perfect amount of batter a half cup to prevent spillage out the side of the pair of irons,
Double stack!
Too Much! Life B good here!
Surprised, figured it was the state bird the Canada Goose. Next year will be checking in the feathers for hidden cameras and antennas. When one flock in particular did a flyover one day instead of the normal honk, honk, honk there was an eh, eh, eh don't ya know. I got a bit suspicious.
