  1. There is a lot of people here that need Midol
  2. We need to have a crawfish photo page, where and when. It's only in the last few years I have found there is a lot more about craws than I ever imagined
  3. You need to send us a picture of how it looked in the etoufee
  4. I just get tired of spineless wimps trying to ruin a great forum
  5. Smalliebigs, you and Brian B need to take some MIdol
  6. Justin, In Cold Blood was maybe the first book that kind of scared me, because it was true and I had a hard time with the fact that there were real monsters in the world I'm old enough to remember the crime. I just started reading "Light of the World" by James Lee Burke, Iberia parish detective Dave Robicheaux and P.I. Clete Purcell are vacationing in Montana and the usual violent story unfolds. I really like stories where the bad guys never make it to trial,
  7. Flysmallie once they move out, believe me, you will think you are wealthy.
  8. If you go up to Iowa after the harvest, it seems most of the farmers leave portions of their fields un harvested try to drive down those back roads ducking the Ringnecks. Are Iowa farmers just smarter or do they like to hunt birds more than farmers down here/
  9. moguy1973 how much are those tickets today. WE shared season tickets in 1984 through 1987 sat 16 rows behind the red box seats directly behind right hand batters box and seats were, if I remember right, $6.25 per game and believe it or not those were reserved seats. We took the grandsons to St Louis for a game in 2006 ( I think) sat in the last row along the 3rd base line and the tickets were $50 each haven't been back since.
  10. Right chief we are our own worse enemy. I ended up living in a subdivision in St Louis county in the 70s where my dad first took me hunting for rabbits and quail in the late 40s I guess that is progress.
  11. Am I the only one who ever read "The Case Against Congress" by Drew Pearson and Jack Anderson published in 1969?
  12. Explain that? But remember if you try to match wits with me, you are only half prepared. But, I don't think you will even try to answer.
  13. hoglaw didn't some one donate a bunch of land on CC a few years ago or maybe more than a few years ago I think the guy was a schoolteacher in that area???
  14. Still does. Great crappie, Largemouth and Catfish lake. It may be the best fishing lake I've ever been on. It's just never fished in tournaments or TV fishin shows because it's not pretty and only an idiot would try to put a fiberglass Bass Boat in those cypress knees. Best fished out off a tin boat with a small outboard.
  15. I never thought about gill plates but that makes sense or do like my wife and say it had to be a fifteen pounder just broke her line. Works for her but she never was good at knowing how long things are..........and she has very small hands.
  16. Wow you know how to run a float That looks like one of the best shore lunches...........I have no advice about fishing out of canoes a canoe was just a device to get me to the productive holes on the river so I could get out and wade fish and to get me to a gravel bar for shore lunch but I never thought of mud bugs......
  17. Thanks I tried that and also used the zoom but I believe its time to get new glasses
  18. Billfo, I understood exactly what you meant. That's the word I would use and Champ 188 they have very dedicated Christian direction in the prison system, you seem to forget that the first the first two who walked away MURDERED a retired couple.
  19. Ya, and I start hearing Beausoleil playing the chanky chank music and I close my eyes and I'm in Breaux Bridge again
  20. Wow I think I need to get new glasses, print to small, any one else notice that?
  21. ya, I saw that today and thought Al nailed another one
  22. So ,what about the trip????????.........I waited until today to open the post when I would have time to savor in your fishing adventures and where is the tale......
  23. Moved from St Louis to central Arkansas May 1999 didn't winterize my boat again till I moved here to Republic Dec 2007 I don't think we ever saw ice on Ouchita, Hamilton or Katherine. A brutal winter day was low in 20s 3 inches of snow overnight and the ramps dry at noon
  24. Yes we are, for sure.........I think
