Man you are on a roll. Are you using that livescope to find those fish?

I don’t use them often but when I do I mostly use KVD 2.5.

No the complaint is they couldn’t figure out how to go get it and have it at the reel counter so my wife could pick it up and pay for it. I’ve been doing it for several years.

There is an item that I want. I want someone to get it and put it behind the counter so my wife can pick it up this afternoon. I have done this more times than I can count. I called and no one in fishing answered the phone. I hung up and called back. The call rolled over to customer service I explained what I wanted and was transferred to the curbside pickup. They told me that they couldn’t do that. So I was transferred to fishing. The guy who finally answered the phone said he didn’t think he could do that but knew someone would could and he transferred me back to curbside. That was more than my mood could handle so I hung up. Rant over.

I have never heard of him. I’m not much of a crank baiter now days. They have to really be on it for me to do it more than a half hour or so. My advanced years and high speed reels don’t match up with that technique very well.

I threw the square bill and had one bite. It came unbuttoned. I caught 1 short on a Ned then couldn’t get a bite. I had a few bites but no hookups on a jig. I fished a dirt Zero with no bites. I broke it off and put on a Purple Haze Zero. I had 3 keepers in 4 casts and 2 more shortly after. My neighbor stayed with Ned and wound up catching 10 to my 9 but he only managed 1 keeper to my 5. The bite was from 11-12. We fished from 8-2. The water temp was 84-87°.

I’ve never seen one. All I have to go by is what I was told. I’ll know more about it later.

The guys at Marine Repair say the ducer weighs 8# and MK says that’s too heavy for the Ulterra to continually lift. I have a 360 with a Cornfield Crappie mount on it now and I am seeing some issues so it’s coming off when the Shuttle Slide gets mounted next week.

I’m heading down there after while. I plan to go up the river. I’m going to give your square bill idea a try.

I have an Ulterra. Minn Kota said under no circumstance should I mount that much weight on it. The only time I crappie fish is in late fall and early winter if they are on bluff ledges. Would it do me any good for that technique?

Sounds like a good trip to me. I went to Cedar Ridge. Early I caught 4 bass on a spinnerbait and lost 3 others. After that I couldn’t get a bite on anything else. I left at noon. Back to the Rock for a while.

So how do you guys use it? Do you have it on the trolling motor or on a separate mount? Do you deploy it and cruise around looking or use it while fishing in general? How deep does it work?

Scott Robinson told me that Rick Fishback is one of the field testers and is still seeing some glitches. I may need to contact him and set up a demonstration before I take the plunge.

I hope that I’m not being too much of a pain here guys but I have made a few unwise decisions concerning some “accessories” that were a waist of money. I run Birds and am told when it becomes available it will set me back 1500 bones. It will be worth that if I can use it to catch fish. If I can’t then I already have enough toys.

Are you guys able to do a recording with your live view like you can with regular sonar?

The problem is I don’t have a crappie game.

All I see is Men’s Warehouse and I have not looked at a suit for many many years.

I’ve been a proponent for that for several years but I don’t see it happening. I also think that sight fishing during the spawn should be a very serious infraction with dire consequences.

If you like really large watermelons I had some 40# Charleston grays.
