You know what they say about Yoga Pants, 70 percent of women who wear them have never done Yoga, and 100 percent of men don't care. Wait we may be talking about another kind of Yoga pants? 🤷♂️

That man needs to go buy a lottery ticket. Just proves when it is not your time to go its not your time.

Boeing still has better track record than the FDA.
-
Clearly the Covid vaccine is safe to take, and the boosters will not hurt you. Look at the stellar track record the FDA has. If they built a plane would you get in it?

Try and like Sprint Car racing, you got WoO ASCoC ASCS and then you have to deal with Dirt Vision Flo Racing Racing boys just to try and follow the season.

Lithium lifepo 100 amp batteries?
TRRANGER replied to Dutch's topic in Tips & Tricks, Boat Help and Product Review
Surely the powers that be have thought this out, right? SARCASM FLAG SARCASM FLAG The powers that be that think all electric vehicles and tanks to fight our wars are good idea, when we cannot keep heat and ac on in the cities. Springfield yesterday requested we conserve electricity due to the cold temps. Thinking things through is obviously not their strong suit. -
Lithium lifepo 100 amp batteries?

Yes gas cars do catch fire, but when lithium batteries catch fire the burn at a much higher temp and are much hard to extinguish than a normal car fire. Normal car fire can be put out with water or normal fire suppressants that are readily available. -
Yes the are, they moved to the East side of 65 and north of Sunshine across from the Sam's Club. The place by the Battlefield Mall, Bourbon and Beale was closed due to the owner taking false PPE loans during covid and defrauding the government. it is a shame because the food was really good.

Shorty Pants at LOZ has really good Cajun food. Big Easy is pretty tasty in Springfield MO for Cajun food as well.

Lithium lifepo 100 amp batteries?
TRRANGER replied to Dutch's topic in Tips & Tricks, Boat Help and Product Review
I have never had an issue of running out of power during a day of fishing, but I have had to turn up the speed of my trolling motor as the day goes on to maintain the speed I was traveling. Since I went from the 87 48lb Minn Kota to a 2001 68lb thrust Maxxum to my current 80lb Ultrex the battery drain is so much less. My chargers have always given me a % of drain at the end of a day. When I had the 48lb my batteries would be down to almost 25% at the end of the day, my 68lb would be around 45% and now with my 80lb Ultrex I rarely see them below 75% after a hard day on the water and never below 70%. I am talking about 10 plus hour days of fishing and being on the trolling motor all day. I am always a believer in if 50ah will alright and 100 ah is more than enough, if you have it and dont need it you dont have to use it, but if you need it and aint got it you are in trouble. -
Lithium lifepo 100 amp batteries?

THANKS, for the price of the lithium 100 on Amazon of around $200 to $250 I think giving them a try is worth the discount, I replace my lead acid every 2 years at $150 each and if they only last 5 years I am money ahead. -
Hey Phil, What is the water temp of Taney this time of year, verse the temp of Table Rock? You should have to go to the coldest water. To do your plunge.

I run an 80lb Ultrex on an 18ft Ranger 360v with the 2 31 dcm lead acid, did some measuring and a single 24 is to long to fit, bummer. but will 2 100 amp hour lithium be what I want to purchase. For my set up? -
Several years ago when I was madder at green fish than I am now I got the opportunity for someone to cover my expense to fish a small buddy tournament series, I asked my buddy who got us hooked with this gentleman if he wanted some advertising on a jacket or such for his business for covering our expenses to fish. I told my buddy I would fish in a pink bunny suit if he wrote me a check to fish the series. I am 6 ft tall and 400 lbs so that would be, well lets just say a big bunny. My fishing buddy said he was going to get donations to buy the suit. Now with that being said and this being the age of everyone having a camera phone it never happened, because there would have been pictures and probably on this forum of some fat dude in a pink bunny suit. The gentleman said that was not needed and if we would take him out for dinner and few beers and cigars at the end of the season he was happy. I still think it is funny and my buddy mentions it when we talk about fishing in a pink bunny suit.

So you do not think a single 24 volt 100 amp lithium to replace 2 12 volt 31 series lead acid trolling batteries would be a good idea? -
Area reel cleaning?

I have used Fin & Feather, drop off and usually back with in a week or 2. -
This reminds me of the old fax jokes that got sent around years ago, I used to get them quite often. Classic pencil drawings with crude humor. I miss the good old days when nobody had feelings.

This saddest part of this is the $4 to $5 grand a month for any medicine is an obscene amount to charge, absolute greed and disgusting.
-
Mitch, those are really nice

Bill that is called man math and is perfectly acceptable, much like buying 3 reels on sale at Academy and saving enough to say you got 1 free. BB1 Lews for $149.99 and an additional $20 of for using the APP. I bought 2 and had my wife buy 1 so I could save $40. Man mathing the system.

What really upset me about this deal was I pay an annual ramp fee Corp Pass to the USACE to launch at all Corp ramps WHICH Long Creek was built by the Corp, so why when money bags Morris decides he wanted to build an eye sore on a really good point, then he has the nerve to charge me for launching. I do not have single problem with him charging day use fees to the campers or people that have not paid the Corp ramp fee but to charge me an extra 5 just to launch is upsetting. When he first bought it I was coming down with a High Schooler prefishing for an event and a really nice lady told me they were gonna start writing tickets for it and I politely said that was fine and fished 2 more days and she waved at me both days as we pulled out. I never got a ticket.

I in the past changed a bilge pump on the water while the 2 high school kids I was coaching fished. I kept all batteries hooked up and running the trolling motor in an 87 Ranger 360v. I am now much older and can still do it but FOR $45.00 bucks I would pay just to not have to strain and stand on my head to swap them out. Those 31 series batteries are heavy and awkward to get wrestled out of the hole they put them in. I just had mine out and paid one of the boys that I coached to pull them, I am not rich by any means but money well spent and he can use the extra cash for important things like girls and fishing tackle.
