    I've tried every lotion imaginable, but unless you're very diligent and apply it on a very regular basis, it doesn't do very well. For me, Vaseline seems to me to be the only thing that works.

    If you really want to make it work, get some latex gloves and just soak your hands in Vaseline and put the gloves on overnight....done

    Thanks Al, what some don't realize is that a lot of time and effort (as well as a lot of money) was spent on the design and revisions of the craw and jig head. There were 3 revisions tweaking it and 3D printed molds created before I felt confident enough to have the mold cut out of Aluminum. It wasn't as easy as cutting a Senko in half.

    It was not my intention to over-hype the craw Chief. They were just catching big fish with it. I can't help it. The craw is nothing special.

    These are huge fish! Babblers was huge too. I bought a Hog Trough and will get a scale like Hog Wally's soon, to avoid all the skepticism. Too bad I haven't caught a fish big enough for a pic recently? Anyway, my once a month fishing ain't getting any better anytime soon, my wife is due in 3 weeks or so.

    You run the risk Ham traveling one hour for sure, but those guys happend to guess right today. It's hard not to second guess yourself in a tournament.

    The Spring is fickle for sure, feast or famine sometimes. Kind of like the winter, it seems. I'm thinking the fish will spawn this next full moon if this weather keeps up.

    I would think you would have to use your anchor quite a bit, using the Ned rig and thoroughly working an area the way you guys do.

    Now that's cool! I know they use the float-n-fly at Dale Hollow with great success with big smallies, but only thought this technique got mixed results at TR. That's awesome news! Especially with Largemouth
