  1. Did you catch 10 species today? LOL
  2. Yes, the rib eyes were worth the wait! We relaxed and didn't try to kill ourselves fishing, which was kind of nice. It was great to see how Pauls father in law, Bill, so much enjoys his lake home....he seemed genuinely happy to the core that we stayed at his place and all had a good time. As you get older you realize these moments can become a lifelong memory in an instant, and you will cherish them. Like when you and I camped out this summer!!
  3. If the water from TR is that bad I wonder if it in any way correlates with that fish kill on the lake we had a month ago? I thought there was talk about some thermocline issues if I recall.
  4. What is Big M anyway?
  5. Good seeing you too buddy!
  6. Thanks for the great weekend Paul, you and Pat are great guys! It was nice meeting Old Plug too! Nicest guy. I really enjoyed Bill, your father in law, great guy, great host. AND, I made my bed!?? Oh yeah saw Wrench again too! always a treat!
  7. Check your bearing buddies often too!

    What's Cooking?

That dog just made the Varsity team, no more JV for him!! Outstanding!?

    Safe to say

Just a guess on my part, but I think it's safe to say they are in full rut! Shot this from my bedroom window this morning. My daughter is asking "What are they doing daddy?" IMG_4536.MOV
  14. I take it, this replaces your personal best!

    What's Cooking?

Pretty simple, just brown the oxtail and add veggies, 2 tblspoons of tomato paste, one bayleaf, 3 cloves, and 2 cups beef broth. You have to cook it long enough to rreally melt the collagen. about 4 hours.

    What's Cooking?

    Oxtail soup today!
  18. I hear ya, but I am always more than courteous to all canoers and rafters!
  19. Just be careful in that area, all it takes is one big rock, and you will go from 20 mph to zero in about .5 seconds. Then you will be lucky to make it back to the ramp. The only time in my life I've been flipped off by someone was on that stretch....he was sitting in a lawn chair in the water, I was over 100 yards away from him and he gave me the thumbs down signal. I smiled and waved back at him and then he flipped me off.
  20. Tracker Marine has close to 500k in the latest laser scanning equipment, I sold it to them. Can't tell you how many boat hulls I've scanned for them over the years. They aren't afraid to spend money on technology.
  21. You just gave me an idea....a drone with 250 yards of 15 lb fluorocarbon attached working a whopper Plopper.
  22. Looks like a great time! Thanks for your efforts! That placed gets blitzed with otters, I think they have a green light to take care of the situation.

    What's Cooking?

It's not, it's still in the case in the Chinese market. I have eaten beef and pork tripe, it's actually not too bad, but they add so many hot peppers in the dish you really don't know what you're eating.
  24. I heard they make tungsten powder for lead pouring jig heads with hooks in the mold. It's mixed together with lead I guess. Thank you for the endorsement, it means a lot.
  25. Duly noted FWIW, my supply of responsibly sourced Habaneros has now pretty much come to a screeching halt. Your friend and compatriot Alhondro De Lucia informed me that recent floods and civil unrest have all but cut off Habanero trafficking in southern Chile. He said it's not like the old days when you two were running guns to the rebels. You might have to settle for Chompers garlic scent!? ps. Alhondro sends you his best!
