Remember, most people only post reports when they wack em...and when they wack them usually has little to do with their fishing ability, but having ideal conditions and doing the same thing they normally do. Try something different; put the odds in your favor by looking at water clarity, this will narrow down your choices pretty quick.

No, I was just saying that giving out free baits has little return value. You get a handful of loyal guys who appreciate it and give you great feedback, the rest say thanks and never fish them. Same with "pro staff", does anyone ever notice a small patch on someones jersey? Does anyone notice a small decal on the winner of a NASCAR race? all im saying its a high percentage way of losing money.

I build up the thread with a few extra wraps....I use flat waxed nylon thread. I also strip the marabou pieces off the center spine of the feather before tying it on.

Yes in other words put a weight with a leader about 1-2 feet in front of a jerk bait. Most people Carolina Rig with plastics obviously, but I had thought a heard you say Bill was rigging them that way a while back.

My wife graduated today from Webster University down at the Muny in St. Louis. I sat and watched the new graduates marching abreast fairly slowly down the center isle. I tried to look at every smiling face as they marched with their caps and gowns. I was just thinking about all the hard work and hours of dedication that they had endured to get this degree. But my overall feeling was how much money they spent getting their diploma. Seems these days students just aren't getting the bang for the buck. Pretty scary how college costs have sky rocketed. Ridiculous in my book.
