You'd never have to get into a cold bed.

And you'd hear some really strange noises, even through the double hull.  The Ocean is not a quiet place.....

This was 12 years ago.  Back then the talk was about all the concrete being used to fill what people called a "leak" at Beaver Dam.  To be honest, I haven't heard anything about it since.

I think it may have been answered in the post made by MickinMO on Sat. 5-23 at 6:43 A.M. in the Thread "Were will all the water go" on the 3rd Page.  It seems the Corps installed some kind of underground wall device.

This morning at 9;30 Bull Shoals is 1.04 below flood pool, Table Rock is 2.64 and Beaver is at 3.25 feet.  That's getting really close with all the rain that is projected for this week.  Even if we miss most of it we are still going to get wet.

And some is bound to fall on the Mississippi drainage, generally, which makes the local situation worse.

Wish I was coming back down for a summer trip, instead of chauffeuring football practice. Love fishing it when it's up.

I made it back from my bike ride this morning just in time to get in the shop before the skies opened up.  Didn't last very long but it rained HARD for a few minutes.  Looking at the radar right now, things are moving almost straight north.  Seldom see storms do that.  Probably on their way to Vernon's place.

Table Rock has come up about 4" since 9:30 this morning.  That's about 1/2 inch an hour.    We have had 3 total cloud burst here today, not raining long, but just pouring and it looks as if it has been that way over the entire basin with more coming.

Long range weather radar map is green, orange and red.

I think the COE is creating a new normal too.
