There were also some other rather exaggerated tales told in regional magazines about Crooked Creek, most notably articles about the wild and wooly lower end, below Yellville. It was said to be brushy and full of cottonmouths and tough to access and tough to float, but with some areas just full of monster smallies. I'll bet a lot of people who read those articles were shocked when they tried to float it below Yellville and ran into a dry river bed! Maybe there are places between Yellville and the White where enough water remains to keep some smallmouth alive, but for the most part, the creek dries up below Yellville by mid-summer. If there are places below Yellville where those huge smallmouth exist, the people who know them are keeping it a secret.

The tales about the lower sections of crooked creek are true, at least the part with them being hard to access. I have waded(walked) up from the 101 bridge and down from the lower access. I have not caught a 6lb'er but I know they are there because I have seen photos from a local.

everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.

I don't post all the places I fish, I'm trying to protect people from harm. I fish in places where the frogs bite and have

razor sharp teeth and where the toads shoot venom out of their eyes. I just don't want people to

get hurt.

I did fish a little creek today below the table rock dam something Como caught a few before I had

to bring my father in-law to Skaggs for a appointment.

If you don't want to read them then don't. I personally enjoy the posts that include detailed photo's or essay's from various indivituals whether it be from Bigs, Eric, Mr.Agnew, etc when it involves FISHING... Sounnd like you have a bit of a problem with people having positive results. After all, envy is a green eyed monster that seems to be all over you GreyBeard, and this is exactly yet another reason why I think the vast majority of people on this website are jealous douchebags with far too much time on their hands and they make it to where a person does not even participate on the forum, which is precisely what I'm doing now, checking out for good to go fish. And I know I'm not the only one that has THIS opinion, you know who you are out there. Seeya Bastards!!!!

You obviously have trouble following along. From the very begining of this thread, I have never stated that I don't enjoy reading a fishing report. In fact if you indeed did read, you would know that eric, Al and I are in agreement about nameing waters that we fish. Which is what this thread is about. But it appears a couple of you have to call people names and deomonize them I guess in an attempt to verify your manhood status. However miniscule it appears to the rest of us.

I hope you have a better tomorrow than you are having today. And good luck on you next fishing trip. I hope you will post a report too, I would like to read it. Have you ever posted a report? I don't read all of them but, I just can't recall seeing one from you.
