Biglerma Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 All you guy's are all killing me. Can you imagine Bill picking up that day's client at the dock. He's wearing his favorite Babe Winkelman Polarized sunglasses, a Tennessee Volunteer ball cap, a freshly pressed Jimmy Houston Outdoor Center T-shirt and a pair of KVD Irish Setter flip flops. The guy gets in the boat and whips out two Bill Dance signature series Zebco 202's, opens up his Hank Parker Plano two tray tackle box, ties on his favorite Roland Martin autographed Helicopter lure on one and a A-Rig with three banjo minnows and two flying lures on the other. He looks over at Bill and say's "Let's go gettem Champ". ( I think I just wet myself ) LOL.. awesome!
Martin Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 I want to know where Bill is buying his chicken liver......Harter House's are always too mushy......lol Side note: Had a Dancin Eel with me to appall my partner in a walleye tournament at Bull Shoals.......It was Oct 5 or 6 years ago. We were having a tough day. Not one walleye in the boat and it was noon.....Desperately looking for something, I put out that dang eel and trolled it on leadcore. I actually caught one of our 3 keepers on the D. Eel.....We won that derby with those 3 fish.....LOL
dtrs5kprs Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Dance's eel is probably the one that does not belong. They actually brought it back as a "swimbait". It did work, so did the Dance's craw. Lot of the stuff we consider normal now would have looked ridiculous 25 years ago in the jig and pig days.
Feathers and Fins Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 EELS work great on strippers. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856

dtrs5kprs Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 Dancin' Eel = one free lap dance? I was trying hard to be good.
crazy4fishin Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 WD just posted what we were all thinkin...didn't Iconelli try to sell that laser lure thing? I always thought that was like sharks with lasers on their heads..obscure Austin Powers reference there. C4F Crazy4fishinA Cornhusker
Seth Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Banjo minnows and flying lures did actually catch some fish at times. I came across a yellow helicopter lure somehow when I was you ger a d fished it to death in my uncles lake. Im not sure I ever landed a tish on it and that lake is over lolulated with 10-12" starving bass that eat anything!
Hughesy Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Bill's secret baits are currently in my shop waiting to get new paint jobs. I'll never tell! Thanks Bill.
